Saying that this trope originated with VideoGame.Warcraft Orcs And Humans (1994) is incorrect since it already occurred in The Secret of Monkey Island (1990).
Edited by eroockThis trope is slightly confusing. Is it basically when you click on a character to talk with them (in that case, I really would change it to "Stop Talking to Me")? Or does it involve a character commenting on actual physical "poking" (breaking the forth wall that they are being clicked on too many times)?
Edited by PandoraTears There are women on the internets, yes. Hide / Show Replies(Replying to a REALLY old post I know.) It's the second, mainly, but the first is close enough to be comfortably shoehorned in. Basically anything where you can "bother" a computer character with a repeated action that would provoke Real Life annoyance and the programmers include this reaction probably fits. Mouse clicking is just the most common example.
If you're uncertain about an example, there's probably still a place in What the Hell, Player? for it.

I know MMMV on this one, but maybe the Worker's "Ow! OK, OK, I will work!" from Command & Conquer: Generals and its expansion pack could as one?
