A successful deconstruction is not a failure. Hence this isn't a failure to fail — not Spring Time For Hitler.
- Springtime for Hitler: Wes Craven intended for this movie to kill and discredit the slasher genre. Didn't quite work out that way.

Would randy count as a ensemble darkhorse? I mean he is sort of the meta guy of the first 3 scream movies, and {spoiler many fans were upset when he was killed off in scream 2}.
