Well, y'know, just because a trope doesn't have real life examples doesn't automatically mean it doesn't happen in real life.

This trope is so common in literature, to the point of being an archetype that's Older Than Dirt, that it seems like it would make sense to only post exceptional cases that the plot revolves around, subversions, deconstructions, or otherwise treated in significant ways - otherwise you get every random story where an instance was thrown in to fill up space or round out a character without much effort. Deciding which entries "deserve" to be on the main page, however, is pretty difficult unless people have actually seen everything.
Given Sinfest's turn for the batshit, wpuld it be worth looking for a new page image?
