Well, if you think it belongs on the recs page, you’re 100% allowed to slap it on here yourself. If you need any help with that (first time recs are always a little bit nerve-wracking, I’m speaking from experience) you can always head over to the forums and ask for help, or you can always ask me! There’s a couple handy templates too on-site if you want to get started.
God has cursed me for my hubris and my work is never finished.I am super new to Actually BEING a troper here, I’ve known and used this site for years now but I literally made an actual account here because some friends and I where chatting about the story deserving a TV tropes page on Under the Veil’s Discord server. That was yesterday at the time of writing this (AEST). Yeah, I’d love your help.
Edited by AndreatheprimaldragonI’ve put together a tropes page for my favorite Undertale fancomic, this shouldn’t be too much of a stretch. I’ll PM you some tips.
Edited by Rockium God has cursed me for my hubris and my work is never finished.Wooo! I finally got around to adding the recommendation! 🥳 but… well, it’s not very… uhh clean, so to speak, it’s uhh very messy. But hey, I’m happy has I can help one of my favourite fan fictions get a larger audience!
Edit: This was a post from two years which is now irrelevant as I plan to just make it a page
Edited by SandwitchZebra y’all ever justIs there a rule for where in the list new recommendations should be added? I added a rec in Fan Videos for "Undyne the Undying - ANIMATION," and I put it right below "UNDERTALE ANNIVERSARY" (about one-third down from the top of the list) because it has a similar subject and animation style. But looking at other recent edits, other people seem to be putting their recs at the bottom of the list in each appropriate folder. Is that the way everyone is supposed to do it? If so, I'll move mine to the bottom of Fan Videos.
Edited by Goldenguy880 Hide / Show RepliesI don’t think order matters very much, so I think you’re allowed to put your rec anywhere within the folder. It’s just that a lot of people find adding their recs to the bottom of the list much more convenient, so that’s what we tend to do.
God has cursed me for my hubris and my work is never finished.Could someone add this one? I'd do it myself, but I'm still fairly new to this site and I'm worried that I'd mess something up if I tried to edit the page.
Hide / Show RepliesI don't think we're allowed to add recs for other users. They specify at the top of the page that you have to sign your name when recommending a fic, and I don't think it's allowed to put other people's names. You'd have to add it yourself.
Protip: Don't worry about messing it up. You can preview your edit as many times as you want. Use Tips for Editing and Text-Formatting Rules as well as the markup on the rest of this page for reference. Good luck :)
I was thinking of recommending the Web Animation-type series "Undertale DDD (Distorted, Distinctive Destiny)". Here are a few of the videos.
I like to believe the brighter side of things. :) (and that's a Temple of the Monkey God on the Glacier mission in BMC)Oh sorry, I thought you could just add fanfic suggestions... Is that OK? I just added Magicae est Potestas in the Crossover folder... it's a good fic, the only one of that type.
Hide / Show RepliesYou CAN just add fanfic suggestions. I think the previous few posters here got confused. You can discuss it here if you want, but you don't need to.
If it's not an Problem,I would like it added on the Crossover Tab: http://minecraftfan11scr.deviantart.com/art/Coratale-Prologue-Lingering-Nightmare-666610981?ga_submit_new=10%3A1488420443 It's an what-if crossover mixing Undertale and Coraline.I even have done an Page about it: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Fanfic/Coratale
Come with me, and we will fly, to a Castle in the Sky...can you add this one?

I'm vouching for this game: http://www.philome.la/Opaopa13/undertale-a-diary-v3
It's a CYOA-style game instead of a battle, but that doesn't stop it from following up with some of Undertale's themes.
That most recent add (namely, Alphys vs. Undyne) seems... suspect, considering the last addition of a fic by that writer to the page. Any way to confirm or refute its legitimacy?
Hide / Show RepliesIt's the same guy. He tried to plug this thing again in the starmen forums around the same time and his "style" is really obvious.
It helps that his work is so bad that he's the only one who ever tries to recommend it.
If there was both an original version of a song and an animated version, but both were done by different creators, is it OK to link to both of them in the recommendation so both get credit? I considered doing it for my recommendations but I just want to be sure.
I'm pretty sure that Alphys Hoek fic was recommended by its own author. Look at the name of the author and the name of the "recommended by" person. It's also rather suspicious that it was posted with the names of two people in the "recommended by" section (since IIRC those are usually added as different people double-up on recommendations).
There's also the fact that I have noticed the author pushing his own fanfic onto people on at least three other websites, adding to the likelihood that he was the one who recommended it here.
Since self-recommendations are against the rules for Fanfic Rec sections, should I remove it?
Edited by BabyCharmander Hide / Show RepliesDelete delete delete.
Keep in mind, that author has been banned for doing the same thing.
EDIT: Done.
Edited by Larkmarn Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.So After the Happy Ending appears to have plagiarized from several different fics on this page, including "One by One" and "receding into indefinite rain".
Some noted similarities: Chapter 10 has portions from One by One Chapters 2, 3, and 5; Part of Chapter 11 seems lifted almost wholesale from receding into indefinite rain.
Should probably consider Zapping it from Recs.
Edited by AnAnonymousFriend Hide / Show RepliesI agree, I'll remove it. I checked into it and it seems to be just a patchwork of several fics. Who knows how many fics is in it.
My only love is for corals.
Has anyone here heard of a story called Under the Veil? It’s by Popalsia and it’s really, really good. Apparently it’s the most popular Undertale crossover on Fanficion.net and it’s pretty popular on Ao 3 too. Currently 56 chapters long and roughy updates on the first of the month. It’s summary goes like this:
So... give it a read and then ask: dose it belong on the recommended page here? I completely think so.
