My brother is proof of God's existence, because Satan is clearly real.I actually think that's how it was separated a while back, with the Tribunal and Dagoth Ur in their own section, with the Nerevarine and Nerevar above, and all the other characters below.
But, seems fine.
A lot of things indicate that Almalexia (and Sotha Sil and Vivec by extension) are only referred to as "Ayem", "Seht", and "Vehk" as an abbreviation, rather than actual names. Considering the Dunmer use the Daedric alphabet, and "Ayem", Seht", and "Vehk" are what A, S, and V are called in the Daedric alphabet, I'm pretty sure their names are just Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec.
Hide / Show RepliesThey're fair to leave as alternative "names" as they do appear as such in in-game texts and dialogue.
Edited by BeerBaronThis is my first time entering a discussion on this site, so I apologize in advance if this is improper use, but can anyone clarify why Dagoth Ur should be considered the Big Guy of the Chimer elites? As far as I can remember, he was hardly even alluded to in lore until he was asked to guard the tools. He was the head of his own House, honorable and presumably a competent warrior and leader, but I can't recall anything in particular to suggest he was stronger, larger or more aggressive than Vivec, Nerevar, Sotha Sil or Almalexia, who alll have much more evidence to back their positions in the Five-Man Band. Is there something I'm missing or should that be changed?
Hide / Show RepliesThis is totally proper use, so no worries there.
My theory: He's about a full head taller than anyone else, hits hard with physical attacks in-game, and someone, probably years ago, just wanted to slot in a Big Guy for the group since all of the others fit so neatly into the band. He was the best choice.
A case could be made that Almalexia is the Big Guy, given her status as the "fighter" in the Fighter, Mage, Thief trio of the Tribunal and her aggressive Mama Bear personality, while Dagoth, due to his more limited involvement, could be a Sixth Ranger. (Or something like that.)
I think it's ok as is, though could use some more detail explaining why he fits.
I've started the process of moving the non-Morrowind specific tropes for the Tribunal over to the Divine Beings page. I'm going to leave it here as-is for the time being until I can pare it down just to the Morrowind specific tropes, similar to Azura's entry.
I would like to propose a slight modification of the "Divine Powers of Morrowind" section.
1) Separate the Tribunal into its own sub-section so that it's not sharing space with Azura and Hircine.
2) This might be a bit of a stretch, but including "Wulf" might not be a bad idea. He's a minor character, but he's also...well, you know.
Thoughts?
