Is Sarah really a Hate Sink? The trope definition clearly states that unlike a Hate Sink, a Jerkass does not cross Moral Even Horizon, which Sarah never did. She has also showed plenty of redeeming qualities, like taking care of Jimmy and getting along with the other kids besides the Eds.

The following trope is not defunct. Please look at Wolf Tropes to see which trope is more appropriate. Also, please add more context to this example.

About the Karma Houdini example in Sarah, she is not a villain, but yes a jerk, and Karma Houdini is villain-only.

I guess people call her that is because she always acts like the villain to the Eds, and The Eds usually act like protagonists even though they are written as villains. I usually see it as the other way around...the Eds as good guys while the kids and kankers act like bad guys. Really, I can't stand that brat sometimes...

There is a problem in that no one in this show (except one walking spoiler and Kankers, most of the time) cannot be objectively called a villain. It's more like protagonists and antagonists, with heavy doses of Gray-and-Grey Morality (not even Edd is fully free of this).

Fast Eddie overrode lu127 decision to Karma Houdini be villain-only. I am putting the example back.

Really, and BTW, I think we should still remove the complaining about some characters not getting adequate comeback.

Out of note, Fast Eddie said in Ask The Tropers: "I think we can avoid "just a character you dislike" by requiring evidence of a character doing things with a negative consequence for innocents who then gets no comeuppance."

That's actually better...I do hate how people whine about petty things characters do. I agree with Fast Eddie.
