And shouldn't Ryuk be in the Shinigami category? Just a thought.

Well, he is apparently a main character.

How come Takada is considered a side character? She appears in the manga as much as Mikami and her role is important considering that she was the one who made the communication between Mikami and Light possible.

If you don't mind, can you reorganize some of the characters (Misa, Mello, Near, and Mikami) into secondary characters instead of just having them in the main/supporting part? I just think that its appropriate for the main characters to be Light, L, and Ryuk (Protaganist, Deuteragonist, and Tritagonist). The reason is because I consider Mikami, Misa, Near, and Mello to be second important to the main characters whereas the rest like Japanese Task Force, SPK, Matt, Rem, and Takada to be considered supporting characters or side characters. Minor characters would consist of Yotsuba, Sidoh, FBI, Light's family, and Mafia.

I've asked it before, and I'll ask it again: Where does L hit Draco in Leather Pants territory? The "worst" things he's done (or, since it's been a while, has he done worse than setting up Lind L. Taylor for execution by Death Note and unwittingly torturing someone who used to be the second Kira?) really can be reasonably rationalized, to say nothing of the fact that he is fighting in a world of mass-murdering preternatural serial killers. It sounds like someone imposing more moral ambiguity on the story than there actually is, which, in my own estimation, is saying something.

I could have sworn that Roger Ruvie, the head of Wammy's orphanage, used to have a section here. Am I hallucinating, or did someone delete it? If so, why?
