I elaborated on this under how Max is a complete Aversion of the Adaptation Species Change trope between the original Dino Squad source material and this very fic, noting that in multiple drafts of the fic, including one which focused on changing the whole cast to Hell Creek native animals, Max's Beast Mode was never changed because even in the Hell Creek edition, Tyrannosaurus was already native to that region as the land based Apex Predator of the time.
Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on one of the pages linked here underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:
- Tyrannosaurus Rex: His Beast Mode. In fact, he's the only canon member of the Dino Squad to not go through some form of an Adaptation Species Change because of this.
