Agreed with the deletion. It's not anything in the movie, it's just someone trying to pat him or herself on the back for watching the movie.
... yeah. That's a very solid cut.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I don't find the threat atm but it was blocked with the reasoning that there are too many edits for a movie not being released yet and that these edits will get changed after the release of the movie anyways.
But that doesn’t make since plenty of edits are made before movies are released like the trailers why is the situation now different
I agree! I found the original thread here: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/query.php?parent_id=70528&type=att%20https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/query.php?parent_id=70603&type=att (link isn't working, you'll have to copy it in the search box)
The reasoning is a bit different than I remembered, they didn't talk about edit changes. But yeah, plenty other movies had entries about trailers on moment pages so I don't get what's the problem here specifically.
Edited by Hjortron18Probably to avoid the hyperexcited, "Literally every single line from the trailer is awesome!" inflation that always happens with things like this.
I mean, look at what's on there now:
"Actor who was contracted to be in movie is in the movie!"
"The heroes are going to oppose the villain just like we all expected them to!"
Meta: "A lot of people watched the trailer!"
The movie isn't out yet. We haven't seen anything in context, so we can't tell if anything we've seen is a pivotal or even important moment.
Then why not put a disclaimer what’s the point of even having these pages then if people can’t write down their excitement ? Why even have pages at all then ?
Yes, that's exactly the point. There isn't a point to such a page pre-release, so locking it keeps the page from being expanded.
The page is for Awesome events that happen within the work. It's not for how excited the fans are for every little bit of information.
Edited by MrDeathThen why even put it up at all before release then. You might as well as just set the rule that no page is put up until the final product is released then because this is always going to happen with films or shows such as this.
So a new trailer just dropped so I guess on one is going to lift the lock right ?
Unfortunately, that's not how it works anymore. Every subpage is going to stay locked regardless of new content until the movie comes out.
Trust no one.I hope no ever comes to this site ever again if they are gonna be like this
Yes, that's going to be the thing that turns literally everyone off from this site, that they have to wait until a thing is already out to gush over it.
Because it’s waste then to even set up these subpages before hand you might as well just have a film page and wait until the movies out then but the heartwarming, awesome, etc you might as well delete everything in the subpages until the movie comes out than
Edited by benriley42Honestly, a lot of us would like that but people have been throwing temper tantrums about pretty much everything that's being done to repress their god-given right to gush over literally everything.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Well obviously you don’t really care that much about it so just do it then
Thank you, ben, for succinctly demonstrating the exact temper tantrums that Larkmarn is saying are a problem.
Seriously, when has, "Well why don't we just do [childish, hyperbolic thing] then?!" ever been an effective argument?
Okay how about I put this in simple terms if you don’t want people to edit on these pages until the film comes out than don’t make the pages until after the film is released. I’m gonna ignore your Dickish comment and offer you that solution
Presumably because it's less work to just lock it, then unlock it later, than to put it through the cutting procedure.
Guys, someone put up a pirated image of the film for this section. Doesn't this violate one of the rules on this site?

I once put one of the bullet points in the "Assemble" part of the movie:
But someone deleted it. I just wanna know, why? We're not at the same height of RDJ, The Russos, Mr Weedon and all the crew, but even at the humblest part, I think that every fan was somehow a part of the crew there.
