openAlmost-Eurovision singer Music
Can't remember how many contests ago or which country — there was an artist who was supposed to go to Eurovision but got replaced by the powers that be with someone more generic before the competition. I remember people sharing his music around to give him more visibility but that's it. He was a twink if that helps
open"Ulterior motives" song Music
There's a clip of a song floating around the Internet that goes "Everyone knows that, you've got ulterior motives" Sounds like Wham! Or Culture club. Trying to find out the singer or title, maybe release year.
Edited by s2003openmale artist in movie backlot? Music
I'm trying to remember a pop/dance music video - Male singer - Could be a band, but only one artist is featured in the actual video - He's dancing and interacting with movie props and equipments in a movie backlot - E.g. artificial rain, camera cranes etc. - The actual decor seems to be mostly a western movie of some sort - Actors in costume and movie technicians are constantly moving in and out of the picture - This is NOT the Universal Studios Hollywood backlot (i.e. not Why don't you get a job)
openMusic during IMDB Supercut (Jude Law) Music
Can anyone identify the music that plays during the IMDB Supercut of Jude Law (https://www.imdb.com/video/vi3910713625/?ref_=nmvi_vi_imdb_17)?
openStrange Radio Song I Heard Music
During a road trip in 2023, I tuned in to All India Radio and came across a segment on 'Western Music'. There was a song playing that had a refrain that went something like "You don't play at night". Although I don't remember all the lyrics, I recall that the second half of the song had a pseudo-rap form and incorporated some disco(?) music.
openGenius Party Beyond soundtrack - looking for name of specific track Music
Anyone have an idea what this track in the Dimension Bomb is named and who composed it?
Thank you.
openWeezer's Beverly Hills but Portobello Mushroom with Cheese Music
My friend told me he remembers a parody of Weezer's Beverly Hills in an ad or something, but instead of the "that's where I want to be" part it's "portobello mushrooms with cheese." Anyone know what ad this is is from?
openWhat's the song in this video's outro Music
I know the song at the start, but what about the outro? https://youtu.be/SuU6kjNFPhA?si=2TrjD6c_DTWzOOqE
openYoink - Untitled Song Music
i was looking for a Splatoon song remix when i found a Bandcamp user named "Yoink" who pretty much just posts pitched-down Splatoon music, except there's one song off of "shining future" that isn't from splatoon, and i can't for the life of me recognize it. the weird thing is, it doesn't have a name. it's just called "[untitled song]" on the track listing.
the song is here for anyone who's curious.
Edited by Tons-of-Ducksopenmusic video by a synth and drum duo where they're playing outside at night Music
This is another one I saw at a dance night where they project music videos on the wall, but the videos aren't actually to the songs that are playing, so I have no idea what the music actually sounds like. Only two musicians are ever shown on screen, one playing a full drum kit, the other playing a keyboard, and I'm not sure who's singing (I don't really remember anyone lip-syncing - maybe the song is instrumental?). The video is set outdoors in some kind of wooded area, and periodically there's arty closeups of bugs and possums and the like. If it helps any, I remember the drummer having long, blondish hair and playing pretty aggressively.
openvocaloid song similar to self inflicted achromatic Music
i remember a long time ago i listened to a vocaloid song similar to self inflicted achromatic. the video that had the song had bits of footage of real life in a neighborhood, if i'm correct. i think it was also sung by miku. the video also had whiteboard drawings, much like self inflicted achromatic. does anyone know what the song might be?
Edited by icecycleresolved Fan song for Maximum Ride? Music
There's this fan song for the Maximum Ride series that my sibling and I loved when we were kids, but don't remember the name of or where it was posted. I don't know all the lyrics, but I do remember the chorus:
Nevermore, I will fight to the end/ If you want something you don't pretend/ Not a piece of your game, not part of your lie/ Don't tell me you don't know I'm Maximum Ride
There was also a pre-chorus part that went:
Trust you nobody trusts you/ My game you'll never win it/ Let me guess, he's the first to die?/ Well just 'cause you can read minds/ Doesn't mean it's true, doesn't mean I care/ You know he's mine
I've tried asking some people in the MR fandom itself, but nobody seems to know of this song. If anyone here has any idea what I'm talking about, I would be so incredibly grateful for the name of the song/a link to it - it's been driving me crazy for almost two years now.
Edited by MissGemKnightopen''Sounds Like a Melody'' techno cover. Music
In early 90's there was a techno cover version of Alphaville's song Sounds Like a Melody. Any idea on who performed it?
openSong Music
I'm looking for the name of a song I found in a Amv one time. It only has part of it, the title and description doesn't say what the name of the song is, and I can't find the amv now. Part of the lyrics were in English but most was in some other language. I've tried googling the English part of the lyrics but I still can't find it
It begins with a sad female voice, saying
"Who you never were, soundly answer, yet-" then something else in the other language.
Then it has breathing/panting noises.
The first part repeated: "Who you never were, soundly answer, yet-" then something else in the other language.
Then it transitions into a male singer, who is noticeably louder than her and not sad sounding. At one point it sounds like he's saying "Jaybell, jaybell" and "kiss my row" but it's in the other language so I don't know what he's actually saying.
Edited by EverdreamopenSong with "shu-shook" in the chorus Music
This song from The '90s that was on the radio a lot.Male singer, genre maybe rock? The main think I remember is in the chorus someone says the "word" "shu-shook" repeatedly. The rest of the chorus (and the song in general) was real words, but I can't remember any to look up
resolved Anime Music Video About Girl And Robot Music
So, there was this music video I saw in around 2009 that was playing on some rhythm game installed at a Chuck E. Cheese.
It was animated in an anime style and follows this girl, who was running through a forest before she suddenly slips and winds up tumbling into this abandoned building. The building isn’t in the best condition with wires dangling everywhere, and she ends up meeting this little spherical robot (closest image I can think of is One-One from Infinity Train but with a different color palette).
A bunch of bigger and more intimidating looking robots end up activating and chase after the girl and the little robot while shooting lasers at them. The little robot ends up forcing the girl into an escape pod while leaving itself behind. It ends with the girl crying as the building explodes while the escape pod flies away.
Haven’t seen it since and it’s been driving me crazy.
Edited by RabbitsAreNeatopenMarijuana-themed hair metal song Music
There was a song I used to hear growing up, part of a Cheech & Chong CD my dad burned once. It was a song in the style of hair metal or arena rock, sort of like AC/DC with some Van Halen influence.
I think it might be called "Chong Mong," as that's the phrase used in the refrain, but the vocals were kind of indistinct.
Other things I remember: the song opened up with the singer saying "and we didn't have us a bong, so I made me the Chong Mong!" and the verses opened up with "It was a shivery/Saturday night, we woke up behind the Chong Mong."
I thought it'd be Cheech and Chong-related, especially as Cheech Marin totally would have had the range to mimic a screechy hair metal singer (and one of the other songs my Dad burned to the CD was a parody of "Macarena" that Cheech sang), but searching has turned up nothing so far, so I think it might be unrelated to Cheech & Chong (besides the drug themes, of course).
resolved public domain piano song about a cat? Music
This is kind of a weird one, but I remember when I was a kid I took piano lesson's briefly. One of the songs had to do with a cat, and was kind of cute/funny, although I can't remember any actual lyrics, or I'd have looked them up.I assume it was public domain if the piano school was teaching it, but could be wrong. Also, I think it sounded kinda similar to "Lady Marmalade", as there is a scene in Beethoven (which I watched like a year before) where the babysitter sings that song, and for a while I misremembered her as singing the cat song I'm looking for instead.

Hello, i'm here because i've got a melody stuck in me head but i can't find out the title of the song. All i can remember is that it was about being a night owl and the singer in the videoclip was a white guy wearing Mc Hammer style gold parachute pants. I know its slim but i also know internet can do miracles, so thank you if my very lackluster description somehow ring a bell to you. Have a nice night
