Usually none. You can just add the example, but with new indentation. So it goes from this:

  • Trope: Example.

To this:

  • Trope:
    • Example.
    • Example 2.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I checked your edit, and you really should have followed mewtron's recommendation about indentation.

Only a few YYMV tropes, like Complete Monster or Unfortunate Implications, have special rules for adding them (vetting through a cleanup thread and suitable citation respectively). Most you can do so long as it's an example per the trope's definition.

Narm is fine to just add, minus the indentation fix already mentioned.
