Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I don't think that sounds like a stock phrase.
Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods Of Incremental)Doesn't sound stockish to me.
Yeah, that doesn't sound like a stock phrase.
Keet cleanupI haven't even heard "faint in shock" exclaimed as a line of dialogue before. Stock Phrases are meant to be dialogue, not just any phrase that sometimes shows up in dialogue. If it included the latter, that would eliminate a lot of legitimately-named tropes.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
I think that my TLP is just about ready for launch, but I realized that I've heard the current title about a million times.
Would Faint in Shock run afoul of the No New Stock Phrases rule, or is it just a sequence of words that show up on a semi-regular basis because they're Exactly What It Says on the Tin?
