Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
The trope is about the people who find Sayuri unsympathetic, so it makes no sense to talk about the reasons why she might actually be sympathetic (similarly, it makes no sense to talk about why Nobu is Unsympathetic in a trope entry talking about how Unintentionally Sympathetic he is.)
Clearly, the mitigating circumstances for Sayuri's actions weren't mitigating enough to a substantial group of viewers. I think their edits should be reversed/removed.
I'll make the edit with a link to this thread, but should anything else be done about Lucky Cat? This is both an edit war and continuous justifying edits.
I sent the cat a notifier about indentation. They replied and said they'd fix things.
The cat's doing it again.
^ Did you at least re-notify them?
I sure did.
Hey. So Lucky Cat might be Edit Waring on the Fan-Preferred Couple pages as well. So a couple of days ago they added a Finnick/Johanna entry to Literature. However when I looked around, I found that the canon Finnick/Annie is bigger on almost every site, as well as having a much bigger and longer lasting fanbase than Finnick/Johanna. So I cut it here. However Lucky Cat then added a slightly differently worded entry to Live-Action Films here. So I brought it up to the FPC cleanup thread here, and was directed here. Does this constitute an edit war?
Edited by Bullman Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadSuspended them anyway, because they have more than enough warnings to clean up their act re: Example Indentation.

Back in 2018, I added this to the YMMV page for Memoirs of a Geisha here:
The Lucky Cat added this subbullet to it:
Lucky Cat also added lines to the Unintentionally Sympathetic entry for Nobu. Originally the entry said that Nobu came off as justifiably angry because Sayuri led him on and betrayed him, while Lucky Cat's addition (which begins with "However") is that Nobu comes off as Entitled to Have You and tried to make Sayuri indebted to him.
Queen of Swords deleted the subbullet for Unintentionally Unsympathetic for being Natter and being a justifying edit.
Last December, Lucky Cat edited the Unintentionally Unsympathetic entry to this:
This seems like an edit war to me, and the new edit still seems justifying. Can I get some feedback from other Tropers?
