They literally admitted it in the edit summary. But does that mean they know they're in the wrong?

They're straight up saying they're putting information they know is wrong out of personal annoyance. Hard to see how they can think they're in the right.
Like you said, their edit reason was, quote, "Making up a name for Lea’s voice actresss. I hate it when voice actors are uncredited."

has been frequently editing Characters.Dragalia Lost and its various subpages for the last couple months and there are a lot of issues with their edits.
The big one that compelled me to open this up was their decision to make up fake names

for uncredited actors, which is blatant false information with no apparent reason for adding it other than they wanted any name, even if it was fake. They also did this by adding a random voice actor with no citation
to the uncredited role of the fairy companion and adding another random voice actor to a newly introduced antagonist
with no credited role.
Other issues are ZCEs
and being a rampant Serial Tweaker when they don't get the format right, leading to at least 2-5 null edits clogging up the page history at a time whenever they edit it.
