At the top of the page that FanWorks.Mo Dao Zu Shi would link to, this is listed:

Note: This page was cut for reason: Insufficient content to warrant a subpage (only one entry, moved to the Literature page).

I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize. I was planning to add more when I got the time. What's the minimum for to warrent it being a subpage?

You can use a Sandbox page, e.g. Sandbox.Gintama 200 , to make a draft version and check all is well before publishing.

Three trope examples minimum, plus a (short) description of the work.

^ Fan Works/ is a different namespace from Fanfic/. Fan Works is an index of fanfics (that have a page on TV Tropes) related to their source. See for example FanWorks.Star Wars or FanWorks.Harry Potter. So your info is irrelevant to OP's question.

Indeed, the FanWorks/ namespace is used to index Fan Works which have pages on the wiki.

Only when the list becomes lengthy on the main media page does it deserves a separate subpage. And preferably when there are several type of Fan Works (fanfic & Web comics, for examples) to rassemble them.

By this token, the absolute minimum would be 5-6 fanfic entries at least. Below that, plenty of small subpages got deleted when a clean-up effort was put on this namespace (not counting those pages that simply misused it, i.e. mixed it up with a Fanfic Recs page).

You never have to create a FanWorks/ subpage for any work. Most of them are just fine indexed under their media subpage.
