It, uh, actually more or less explains this right on the page: if the leader of the 'monsters' is the most human-looking, that easily can equate to the most attractive. So it's not inherent, but there's a possible relationship.
Why is The Man Behind the Monsters listed on the related trope page for Evil Is Sexy ?
That one seems odd compared to the others.
