Motive Decay? Whoops, that's what I get for not refreshing before I post.
So, Missing Steps Plan has a comment of "comedic examples only". So where do non-comedic examples go?
Specifically I'm thinking of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, in which Nergal's plan is "gather quintessence, summon dragons, ???, profit!" The tragic part is that he originally had a step three, reunite with long-lost children, but the dark side made him forget it.
