The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
There's Invented Individual but it focuses more on cases where the new persona becomes unexpectedly popular.
I'll keep that in mind but keep looking. This was more to escape her past and possible war crimes. The story is set in the future and I'm not sure if what she did qualifies but it certainly weighs on her mind to the point the AI had to alter her personality when she gave her a new identity. She was aware she used to be a high admiral but didn't realize she was an alter.
Working on The Fallen WorldMmm, no, that doesn't apply to what I was talking about. The character is abandoning her old life and starting anew with a new name and rank but is still part of the same military she was before.
Still, that does apply to something unrelated in the same story. Thanks anyway.

I am looking for a few tropes but they are all related to one event.
Primarily I am looking for someone modifying multiple databases to put a new identity in. This includes databases belonging to multiple factions. For context, this was done by a logistics AI that had become self-aware and would have legal access to at least some of those databases.
This is the reserve of Un-person, with the records being falsified so seamlessly that it was only discovered by someone who had access to multiple copies of the databases, some of which were lost before the change was made, and even then only because they were actively searching for everything they could about the invented identity. I couldn't figure out what was the reverse of Un-person. Un-person doesn't qualify, as the AI could not fully delete the original identity, so that is still floating around in public records.
In short, I am looking for database hacking and whatever the opposite of Un-person is.
