I'm pretty sure our policy is to comment out zero-context examples (which these already had been) instead of deleting them. ~Princess Lulu 6 should not have deleted them.

Can they be rolled back by a mod, then? I noticed there were full edits as well.

I know more about obscure 1990s Middle Grade Literature novels than most people.

Bumping; asking for a mod's rollback to restore the entries on the page so they can be expanded.

A few of those commented-out examples were expanded upon/un-commented-out for having context + a character image was added. A mod revert would undo these. So here are the edits to be restored after the mod revert, listed chronologically and formatted in a way that they can be copy-pasted back:

    Restore after the mod revert
Kaya'aton'my:
  • * LanguageBarrier: Between Kaya and Two Hawks in the second and third books, and Hawk Rising in ''The Silent Stranger.'' Justified that they belong to different tribes, since Native Americans spoke a variety of languages, even though they live in close proximity.
  • * SmallNameBigEgo: Kaya is prone to boast or brag to seem important.

Felicity Merriman:

  • * KidHero: In several books, mainly when freeing Penny and saving Ben.
  • * OppositesAttract: Elizabeth as she and her family are loyalists so they don’t support the revolution.
  • * RebelliousSpirit: She's free-spirited and rebellious for the time period. For example wearing breaches once and riding astride rather than sidesaddle, which a woman in her time would.

Elizabeth Cole:

  • * BestFriend: Felicity. Despite their families supporting opposing of the revolutionary war, they still remain good friends.

Addy Walker:

  • * ToxicFriendInfluence: Harriet is a mean girl to Addy, and discourages her from making friends with NiceGirl Sarah.

Isabel Hoffman:

  • * CheeryPink: An optimistic girl clothed constantly in pink; it's her favorite color.

Claudie Wells:

I've reverted the edit.

I've restored the edits that were true expansions and additions and corrected poorly written grammar. The following aren't accurate or are still ZCEs:

Felicity Merriman:

  • Kid Hero: In several books, mainly when freeing Penny and saving Ben. (This doesn't explain the specifics of either, just states two disconnected events.)

Isabel Hoffman:

  • Cheery Pink: An optimistic girl clothed constantly in pink; it's her favorite color.
(having read the books, Isabel is not optimistic; she struggles through the books with her friend group and often makes bad choices to reconnect to them.)
