Interface Screw or some subtrope like Impairment Shot.

Not really sure about Interface screw, because it usually doesn't effect gameplay too much. It's more about flavor than gameplay mechanics

This is common enough that it should get a trope page if it doesn't already have one.

It overlaps with Interface Screw because, if it's anything more than a very subtle transparent red, it's going to obscure your view of what's going on. Which means it easily falls into an Unstable Equilibrium as well: you get injured, then the red jelly obscuring your vision makes it more likely that you'll get injured again.

The version where blood gets on the screen would also be an example of Camera Abuse.
