If controversy with the fandom overshadows the game then it might count as Overshadowed by Controversy, but I don't think an item like this would work on this wiki. Fan Dumb is Flame Bait for a reason.

We used to have something like this (called Tainted By The Fanbase, I think), problem is such a page would just attract complaining, complaining about the complaining, complaining about the complaining about the complaining, and jerks.
A YMMV item describing how the community of a game is the primary downside while the game on its own is alright.
