[up][up]He also puts "experience" in quotes, as though the fact that she made a documentary isn't filmmaking experience.

And "medium", because...film isn't a medium, I guess? What?

Is it wrong that I laughed at the phrase "ode to the art of fetus-schlorping"?

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

I lost it at "you...would have been out on your hot sexy asses a long time ago!"

I think the fact that the guy is still in high school says it all.

Oh, man, his profile is public. Pretty much all his most recent posts are either insulting TGWTG members or talking about Kitchen Nightmares. It's great.

Get your Supergirl TPB back from N Chick as soon as possible, Lewis. She's doesn't seem entirely trustworthy, she might try to hock it for some stupid-ass Lay Miz-related item. And try not to cross over with Suede and JW again, OK? They may be unfunny and unneccesary to CA, but at least they're not nearly as fucking retarded as Sad Panda. Holy Fucking Shit is he annoying!

Really? Are you for real, Lindsey? This is what we get after all this time? You don't post anything new for nearly a month, and THIS is what you give us? First of all, I don't give a god damn fucking shit about Lay Miz, but you and others at Channel Awesome seem absolutely OBSESSED with it! Why is this? And furthermore, there are SO MANY OTHER nostalgic female-oriented films and TV shows you could have reviewed instead of this boring-ass drivel. What happened to you, N Chick? What's your excuse for going so long between reviews? Inquiring minds want to know! Namely, me! Can you and Todd tear yourselves away from each other long enough so that you could possibly produce content that would at least equal your old stuff? Think about it, sweetcheeks! In the meantime, keep bouncin' them boobies! It is, after all, why you're still employed with CA! I thought perhaps you would have realized that by now. Cuz it's true, goddammit!

So this is what you think is entertaining, huh Brad? Not a Christmas-related Snob ep? Shows how well you know your audience. Nothing this year that would rival "Elves" or "SNDN 2"? I guess that's what you've become at this point, huh? What a shame. And if you don't want Jillian anymore, I'll take her! Know what I mean? Its the kids who really suffer when divorce happens, ya know. Or in your case, the cats! Oh well. Have a Merry Christmas, ya drunken dickhead! For what it's worth, anyway...And what do you mean you don't like Nukie? I thought you loved everything the Snob hated! Isn't that the whole premise of the character? Fucking hypocrite! And apparently all has been forgiven between Jillian and Jerrid now that you two have split up. So you are all OK with each other now, it isn't awkward at all? You know, some people have accused you of having a bromance with Jerrid. If it's true, it don't matter to me, but come out and admit it if it is true! You know what I mean? Anyway, I say once again, with all sincerity, carry on, good sir!And what do you mean you don't like Nukie? I thought you loved everything the Snob hated! I don't know this guys at least entertaining in his stupidity, and he's almost guaranteed to not see out discussion so we aren't encouraging.

And he pointed out a Rap Critic video I missed ("Top 9 Worst Lyrics I've Ever Heard (This Year)") from the past few days.

I love the trolls who blast Lindsay for putting social commentary in her later videos and not being just a female Nostalgia Critic anymore... when her very first episode included a rant on the treatment of teenage girls in the media, and her second concerned the genocide of Native Americans.

Great FotR review, though. I would have killed to see David Bowie as Elrond.

So, CR!'s "Next 12 Forgotten Christmas Specials" went up today. I've been watching The Forgotten Toys this morning. It's a decent show.

You know, I kinda liked the Hobbit as a movie, and most scenes did advance the plot, albeit in the slow long run of things. But eh, whatevs, good review of fellowship regardless.

Them sum nice Christmas specials.

So. December is over, Doug's covered Wreck-It Ralph in at least 3 videos previously by coincidence, and the last Disneycember video was of....... The Wild. I think it's stupid by now to ask if he's including Wreck-It Ralph into a Disneycember video.

If Doug ever makes a commentary on Demo Reel, I'd look forward to it! I'd love to see the life stories of the new actors, and the development of the show!

[up]I already said "I think it's a stupid question by now". It just seems like capping off Disneycember with The Wild is a pretty lame move.

Re: Lindsay's Fellowship review:

I gotta disagree with her about there not being well-done, commercially successful fantasy films prior to Lord of the Rings. There was The Wizard of Oz, Its A Wonderful Life, The Exorcist, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Ghostbusters, Interview with the Vampire, and countless adaptations of Dracula and A Christmas Carol.

[up]But except for Wizard of Oz, those aren't movies people typically think of as fantasy movies. And Wizard of Oz flopped hard when it came out.

it's still pretty definitively fantasy though, and many people have acknowledged it as such.
