Who's Suke?
He's either having problems with getting logged on, still has a bad reputation for... Well, "The Midna Chronicles", or... Yeah, I don't know.
Don't play dumb with me, Suke. Or do, your choice.
Quest 64 threadOkay, Saturn...I do like you, though.
Thanks, Etheru, now I feel tempted to make Male!Rika permanent.
Your choice, Arcadia.
I don't know why you guys keep saying Suke, since no one by that name is currently in this thread, or even on this sight. But if you need me, I'll still be here.
In response to Rika's feelings on katanas:
That's it. I'm sick of all this "Masterwork Bastard Sword" bullshit that's going on in the d20 system right now. Katanas deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that.
I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine katana in Japan for 2,400,000 Yen (that's about $20,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even cut slabs of solid steel with my katana.
Japanese smiths spend years working on a single katana and fold it up to a million times to produce the finest blades known to mankind.
Katanas are thrice as sharp as European swords and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything a longsword can cut through, a katana can cut through better. I'm pretty sure a katana could easily bisect a knight wearing full plate with a simple vertical slash.
Ever wonder why medieval Europe never bothered conquering Japan? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined Samurai and their katanas of destruction. Even in World War II, American soldiers targeted the men with the katanas first because their killing power was feared and respected.
So what am I saying? Katanas are simply the best sword that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in the d20 system. Here is the stat block I propose for Katanas:
(One-Handed Exotic Weapon)
- 1d12 Damage
- 19-20 x4 Crit
- +2 to hit and damage
- Counts as Masterwork
(Two-Handed Exotic Weapon)
- 2d10 Damage
- 17-20 x4 Crit
- +5 to hit and damage
- Counts as Masterwork
Now that seems a lot more representative of the cutting power of Katanas in real life, don't you think?
tl;dr = Katanas need to do more damage in d20, see my new stat block.
Anyways, so just any location? Alright.

Damn it, I wanted to add the "Tougher than the toughies and smarter than the smarties" quote but that one is abit too long by a word or two.
You can get what you want and still not be very happy. So Male!Rika is Ozzy's Kismesis?
Stupid doomed timeline...Well, there is a guy named Suke Sho on this website, but not on this sight...whatever "on this sight" means.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Dai, stop crying.
Don't worry, Saturn. Hydronix is suffering from dementia.
Yeah, pretty much, Ozzy, you two have a rough relation, so I figured you two would be perfe-
Funny, I read through the Trollmance, yesterday.
@Dai: Did you know that in Burma during World War Two, a British soldier had his arm sliced off by a katana wielding Japanese soldier during close quarters combat.
In the ensuing rage he first killed said soldier, stole the katana, and led the rest of his unit on a berserk killing spree until he died from blood loss.
Also, Feudal Europe was too busy (1 Killing eachother. (2 Going on crusades. (3 Getting killed by Mongols.
And while the Samurai were rightly feared in melee, the Mongols completely and utterly slaughtered a Japanese army of Samurai during their short-lived invasion of Japan.

...why do they not realize that the katana deal is a joke? ;__; Meh.
Though as interesting as they are, I...really don't see the big deal about katanas.

Charisma 42, Diplomacy 40, Perform(Oratory) X, Inspire 10
tl;dr = Hitler needs to seduce more populations in M&M, see my stat block changes.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Potholing to the trope make your sentence look ironic, Rika.
Whatever you say Saturn Suke.
We all have moments we never live down. Dai never lives down his nitpicky and less-than-entertaining-annoying characters, Midna will never live down clinginess, Suke won't live down his comments about how "All the good players leave because the bad players stay" and some of his other petty negative moments (sorry, dude).
I ♠ YOU RIKA.
Stupid doomed timeline...Okay, Hydronix, if you want to be a hypocrite about it, then fine. I shall ignore you and your characters from now on.
Glad we're on the same page.
*can't stop imagining Lem/Kat now*
Katsuun had just transferred to his new WAOA-school and joined the Plotter Club when he first met Lemurian. Katsuun had been so proud, happy to be a part of the Plotters. At that time, Lemurian was the Club President. He was a cold loner, always keeping to himself, and he never hesitated in criticising the other members. When Katsuun did his first Arcs, Lemurian would always look at them harshly, and criticise them heavily.
One day, Katsuun had had enough of the cold President, who did nothing but criticise. He left the club, and started hanging out behind the school. One day, a strange group of boys came over to him, and tried to rob him. Katsuun tried to run away, but they got him. But then, Lemurian appeared and kicked their asses! Katsuun looked up at him in wonder and asked "why, Lemurian-senpai?".
"Because you're a plotter."
From that day on, Katsuun would hang around the club room all the time while Lemurian was writing his plots. Lemurian would always criticise Katsuun's plots, sometimes harsher than the others, but Katsuun took it all in, because he knew it was all constructive. One day, while Lemurian was home sick with the flu, Katsuun made his first, proper, Arc, and presented it to the others. But no one wanted to play it. Katsuun was heartbroken and was about to run away when Lemurian entered the room, feverish, but with a sparkle in his eye.
"I'll play."
It was the best Arc Katsuun ever did. And from there on out, the two of them were inseparable.
