Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

Unfortunately, a user that apparently came back confessed to be a banned user. Further investigation shows an appeal for an old account, but why they did not come in as the appealed account is anyone's guess.
We'll investigate further on this.

If I'm going to get banned, it's because I've responded to some things said to me by others that I've found pretty rude, provocative and disingenuous in their word-twisting.
All this started, because some people weren't interested in providing counter-arguments to a Youtube-figure I asked about(apparently more controversial than I thought). Instead of just passing this by without a comment or politely expressing disinterest, the topic had to be switched to personal matters (not a very good practice anywhere) about me before hypocritically twisting my words, sending me inflammatory private messages and threatening with mods. These persons know who they are and can step forward and accuse me of everything if they like.
It's been fun with you folks and I've liked discussing with the more sensible of you. I still think Tv Tropes is far better than its reputation and I'm going to recommend this site to my pals despite all the bummers.
