"I see." Said Heather while she poured some tea for herself. "If you don't mind me asking, what does the P.P stand for? I haven't heard many names that starts with P, so I'm a little intriged." she said as she took a sip of her tea. Intriged why a man like him would go to terapy, she decided to play his little game.

Is Jewley J coming back?

I'm feeling strangely happy now, contented and serene. Oh don't you see, finally I'll be, somewhere that's green...

He smiles at her. "Paul. Or Pavel, if you will. Whichever one suits the ear more. And the second initial is something of a nickname, something of a middle name. It grew organically from my working days. It stands for..." he pauses for a minuscule moment. "Patriarch. That, at least, was what my former company entitled me."

He waves a hand. "Either way, it's history for now. But it is always excellent to have some attention devoted to you. So thank you."

This is this.

Heather couldn't help herself but smile. The way he acts, the way he talks, he had more in common to her former boss than she expected. She was beginning to miss those days.

"No, thank you Mr. Hausser" She said as she finished her tea, "Thank you for sharing that with me." She said with a smile. "I will tell you when your turn is, so don't worry. And If you need something, please don't hestitate in asking me." She said as he reverted to her stoic self. There was no time to look at the past, she had work to do.

: I liike this thread, looking forward to it's progress. Not really good at prose either, but here we go.

A couple of teenagers enter the now rather crowded reception room and take their seats. Cojiro lifts his glasses as he reaches for a magazine.

-"Do you really think I need therapy again Cojiro? I don't feel anything wrong with myself" Says Zenjiro as his stare gets lost looking at the receptionist.

-"You may not notice it , but you still need to tie some loose ends with yourslef. Your attention span, for instance" Cojiro reponds rather annoyed as he snaps his fingers to get Zenjiro's attention. Zenjiro turns around and blushes a little.

-"Heh. Sorry, can't help but be distracted by such a nice looking lady. I mean, you already know I'm like that, silly.

-"Oh yeah, and that sure helped us back in Cairo..."

- Ugh, please don't bring that up again and get back to your magazine.

Zenjiro's expression changes from amused to annoyed.

Nicky frowns as yet another group of people enter. There were a lot of people now. Rab would not like that.

And right on cue, Rab groans and grips his chair. He starts muttering under his breath, most likely some survival mantra to not try and bite someone's head off.

Not that he would actually try something like that, Nicky muses dryly, before returning to his awesomely awesome magazine.

Ugh I hate not having my own computer up and running.

Quick question, are all of you sick of me using Rainar or are you interested in him? The reason being is that I could really flesh him out, but I have low self esteem...

I'll be back this evening.

Has ADD, plays World of Tanks, thinks up crazy ideas like children making spaceships for Hitler. Occasionally writes them down.

Mind if I bring in Hans, my vampire psychiatric nurse, as an assistant? If it's daytime, we could just assume the place is sunproof.

Sure!

What a hell, Blade is snoring on her too. That leathery armchair must be a tad too comfy for this.

"Hey!" Noriko doesn't bother with the niceties anymore, she just slaps him hard on the face.

But he does not react. He only says "Zzzzz ZZZz Zzzz."

"Fucking hell."

Okay, in the storage closet you go, bud. Noriko strains herself in exercise dragging this lad along the hardwood floor. He'll fit in nicely beside the clinical coats and medicines, that's for sure.

Phew.

But this is getting embarrassing.

So Noriko tosses the armchair out the window and opts for the stool instead for her patients to get comfortable with.

"Next patient, sirrah," she calls out in sing-song.

Jason will come help out, he's very big. And yes, Enna's a boy.

Walking into the clinic, Jason winced. It was almost full to bursting, and Heather was looking a little harried from behind her desk. Ignoring Enna, who was clutching the back of his jacket like it was a life saver, he waved to her, nodding once to the austere man in the name tag.

"Sorry I wasn't in earlier," he told the younger woman, approaching the desk, "had to pick En here up." From behind him, Enna made a small noise, before peeking out of the giant man's back.

"I came," he told Jason almost accusingly, "can we go?" Jason sighed, patting his head absently.

"I promised your brother," he told the other, before turning to Heather, "how long is the wait? Enna has...trouble with crowds."

Good, there's a second receptionist to help out. Her arms crossed in ever-growing nervousness, Noriko stoutly walks over to the two new arrivals.

She's got a little something something to quell the little fella — Daddy's gotta work now, mm'kay?

Noriko kneels over, down to Enna's eye-level. She pulls out— what's in the pockets? The sharp edge of the butterfly knife she had confiscated? Naww, that's not a good toy for kids.

A lollipop? Oh yea.

"Little guy." Noriko taps Enna to get his attention, then pulls out the rainbow lollipop. (It tastes groovy.) "You wann.. it?" She dangles it out on her fingers, swinging it like a beckoning pendulum. "You gonna have to stop bugging your dad though, alright? Promise me you'd be good?"

She winks.

Enna blinked once, eyeing the treat in her hands, before gingerly accepting it, brushing his shoulder off where he'd been touched.

"Thank you," he said, voice as monotone as ever, lollipop hanging from a pale hand. Looking up at Jason he let go of his jacket, shifting a little. "I didn't know you were my dad."

Jason sighed, before smiling at Noriko, "I'm just a family friend," he explains, "I went to school with his brother." He looked down as Enna tugged on his pant leg this time, little brow furrowed.

"You should tell Ms. Noriko that putting people in closets is bad," he advised, still lacking inflection, before walking off sit at the feet of the man near the exit.

Jason just shook his head and looked at the doctor, shrugging. "He does that," was all he could say.

Sorry, I just woke up. Say, I have a character who is a psychologist too, can I use her? It would sure speed things up here.

Heather just noticed Jason was talking to her "Sorry, I was a little focused here..." She said as he noted little Enma. She felt a little uncomfortable, she wasn't any good with kids.

"Anyway, if you could help me register the new patients here, I would be grateful." She added.

Zenjiro taps his feet on the floor with unease. It was normal for him to feel uncomfortable in closed up spaces like a therapist's office but today, he was feeling more uneasy than usual, as if something was haunting his thoughts.

-"Hey Coji, Do you ever think I'll be able to go back home someday? At least just to say hi to my ma?- Zenjiro says as he turns his head towards Cojiro.

Cojiro stops reading his magazine and with a rather stern look on his face says -" I really don't think so, we are already involved with The Corp and "Dragonfly" is still on our tracks, I honestly don't see that moment coming any time soon"-

-"You can be so cold sometimes Cojiro"

-"Be thankful your family is safe unlike mine, of all the scientists in the world, those Dragonfly bastards had to take my parents.."-

-"Well, I guess you're right."- Cojiro gets back to his reading as the conveersation pauses, as if it was trying to sink that fact in for a few moments.

-"But hey, as long as you got me and the rest of the gang around, you've got nothing to worry about, after all, friends are always here to help!" Exclaims Zenjiro as he pats Cojiro in the back. -"Well, maybe excpet for Nadeeda, she is a jerk, but a funny jerk at least"- he then jokes.

A slight smile appears in Cojiro's usually stoic expression as he goes back to his reading.

@Jewely J — Noriko had been nice enough not to lock the closet door. I'm sure Blade won't mind the surprise when he wakes up.

@eligram — Ja! Please do.

Noriko shoots Enna a glance, before she turns to the eager beavers on the seats who all wait for an ounce of her attention. But oh.. if there is just some way to make the wait easier on them while she works her magic.

She notices that resting atop a corner, there's an old, monochrome TV set that's turned off — the dust having settled from years of inattention. Is that thing working? Let's find out.

So she heads over across the waiting room, and stands on her tiptoes (actually, she is already on her tiptoes. High heels.) reaching for the sky. Noriko fumbles with the dials for a moment, before she finally finds the on switch through guess-and-check.

"There we go. Free entertainment! That's what's been missing out here."

The old TV blares out its speakers, the sound filling the room and captivating all in blazing stereo.

"Now, who'd like to be next?" Noriko asks, rubbing her hands together.

"NOT ME!" Nicky jumps up yelling, frantically pointing to Rab.

"DO HIM! DO HIM! HE EATS PEOPLE! DO HIM!" He yells some more, waving his hands around.

Rab groans and hides his face in his hands.

He supposed he would have to be next.

Al of a sudden the doors open, and a woman enters the room. She dressed quite proffesional and looked to be in her late 30's. She takes a look at the room and first, "It's quite crowded here" She tought to herself. She then aproaches to the desk and ask to the receptionist. "Hello, would you please call Ms. Noriko, I'm here on account of the Doctor."

"From the Doctor?" She asked "Um, she's right there." Heather answered to the woman pointing at Noriko.

"Oh, Gracias."

She then aproached to Noriko "Hello Ms. Noriko, my name is Laura Ferrero, I've been asked by the Doctor to lend you a hand, if that not much of a problem with you."

-"Yes she is" responds Cojiro

Zenjiro stands up and eagerly exclaims "Me! I want to be next!"

"This is gonna be therapy, not a date!" Cojiro says as places his hand on his face in embarrassment.

Jason smiled to Heather, easily typing in some registration information before gesturing to the newest aid.

"Know her?" he asked, shooting a glance around the room, making sure Enna hadn't run off before getting back to work.

Blade didn't know what had happened. It must have been the lack of sleep. He had spent the night pacing around his room wondering if Kato would make good on his threat to have blade show up in court. Inthe end he let him off fairly lightly.

He blinked looking around at his surroundings. "-the hell?"

Assuming you're talking about Laura.

"Not personally, but her name is quite famous in this area" She answers to Jason. "The Doctor would often brag that he teached her some of his tricks back when he was a professor..." She sudlendy stops for a second and looks at Laura "Though is strange, I heard rumors that she is quite a... eccentric person if I may say, yet she been acting normal since she got here."

QQQQQ from Canada Since: Jul, 2011

Eccentric?

"Laura?" Noriko eyes her figure a bit, before she nods and smiles welcome. "Hola! ¿Cómo estás? I'm sorry, my Spanish is a bit rusty, but I'm so very glad you've come."

And turning to Jason, she says, "Yes. She's my lovely and fine assistant, hailing from Venezuela."

Noriko hears Nicky and Rab's clambering between each other who gets to next — they must be related. So she turns to them, points a finger and says, "Eenie.. meenie.. miney.. moe. Actually I'm kidding. The both of you can come in now."

And as she leads the two into the therapy room, she says to Laura, "You can take whoever else is waiting to go."

Inside, Noriko again helps herself to the calming scent of the lavender flowers. She brings up another stool to put beside the first stool for them to sit.

"Hello! Make yourselves comfortable," Noriko says. "Pay no heed to the man lying asleep at the desk—" she notions at Albion snoring. "He hasn't had a good night, I suppose."

Albion is still singing his Z's. (Gosh, he snores like a pig.)

"How are the two of you feeling today? What's up?" she asks them.
