Yeah, but you have to get them first!
One Strip! One Strip!Double Post:
So I'm in Infernal Shinjuku right, and I was about to go up to the roof, when I'm told there's a powerful demon there.
...what am I dealing with here?
One Strip! One Strip! It's been a while since I played the game, but are you doing a sidequest? I think it might be Loki, but I could be wrong...
It's not a specific Sidequest (I think).
I do have one about preventing a demon summoning in the Infernal Shibuya 106 however.
I'm still gonna check out the other cities to see if they have anything too.
Edit: You were right. It was Loki, but he just pushed me out without there even being a fight.
What's up with that?

One Strip! One Strip! He's the boss of a challenge quest that's issued via talking to demons in-battle.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsThe Shibuya quest is the one that unlocks the final Fiend by the way.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Oh, then I'll definitely do that one...
He just shows up and I fight him right? No 1/256 bullshit right?
Cause if there is, I'm killing everything everywhere.
One Strip! One Strip!Specifically, you need to do that quest, then that unlocks another quest back in regular Tokyo, which gives you the final Fiend.
And who says it's a "he?"
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."...
Mother Harlot....that....HARLOT!!!!
Alright. If I can get her without any pointless run around (you run around, we all do a run run run around) Then I'm fine with that.
Apologies for my silly joke. It just came to me.
One Strip! One Strip!you still need the lower fiends to fuse her i'm sorry
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Speaking of Fiends, passed Kresnik's Riot Gun to Red Rider. Tomorrow, Maya.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Father Zeus, Mother Maya is not. Against Riot Gun she folds like a wet paper bag.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Guess who has a nice new computer and guess who is finally able to play SMTIV and SMTIVA.
I have long awaited this day. I have just spent several hours playing the game but I have precious little to report. I just rescued Navarre from the demon domain.
One thing that strikes me is that, having played a few hours of SMTII as well as all of Strange Journey, Nocturne is really an odd duck in so many ways. SMTIV feels more like a "continuation" of what I saw in SMTII than Nocturne did. At the very least you can tell the two are siblings. Someone must have been really desperate to try new things with SMTIII. And it worked! But they went back to this for...reasons?
I'm not shitting on this game or anything, it is just weird.
I have heard tell of this Walter and how he is the best Chaos rep in the series. Kinda major spoilers though don't you think? They're trying to make me buddy up with Jonathan and Walter when I already know from the start where this will end up. I appreciate the attempts at comradeship though. They were sorely missing in Nocturne, one of its major flaws. All your friends in that game were dickheads. I also never felt attached to the crew in SJ apart from Zelenin. So this is nice and refreshing. Just kinda sad it will all crumble to nothing. I guess that's the point.
I am building my guy as a mage just like I did with the Demi-Fiend. I'm Level 10 right now and putting most of my points into Magic, Agility and Luck. Fuck status elements and gotta be good at dodging.
My sense of the fandom is that Apocalypse is way better than this game or is more popular. But I like this so far. Got lots of shit to do in future of course. Who knows what will happen. No world-making decisions yet which is kinda disappointing but I guess not all that surprising. I haven't really done anything yet even if I have been playing for a while.
Good luck with the Fiends is all I gotta say.
Well, I say that, but luck has nothing to do with it....nothing has anything to do with them, because the IV Vanilla Fiends can burn in the hell of eternal nut kicks.
1/256 appearance rate....stupid mother...!
Beyond that, enjoy the game. I'm nearly done with Chaos and will be trying Neutral soon (which is obviously one of the toughest parts).
One Strip! One Strip! To be fair though, that dream sequence near the beginning isn't exactly subtle.
My view is that Apocalypse does some things better and some things worse. I think they're both worth playing.
Not just the dream sequence; the box art isn't subtle at all.
Then again, maybe Atlus is thinking "it's been how many games already, let's just get it out of the way since everyone knows where this is going."
The cover even depicts Merkabah and Lucifer smugly holding them both in their gripes to show how they are pwns in their plans.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. That's pretty subtle though, since you can't tell who is holding them just by the hands. (also looking at the full art, I think that might be Boroughs)
The full sketches of it by Doi show its very much them. Their outfits aren't visible in the smaller sized cover art.
Before that I'd always thought it was Burroughs or Mem Aleph before IV came out in Japan.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Do you have a link? I haven't seen that version.
But yeah, not a good example of blatantness if the cover art only hints at it.
Holy Crap they gave Gore Disaster Cycle. Stupid Vanilla Chaos run, making me do you to get stuff...
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."More like the cover couldn't fit it all. The full image is...I can't find where it is. Damn. Maybe I saw it at SMTG only.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
@Handsome Rob: True. At least their items are a guaranteed drop instead of also being 1/256 chance.
