A beam the width of Quigenti's height shot through the group towards him, aimed to just barely miss Narumi. The detective would feel the air heat up as the energy passed him to vaporize his assailant. If one were to look behind the group, a thin girl would be touching back to the ground, head still not raised towards their opponents.
Lux had been wracked with indecision since this dash to apparent freedom had started. Here she felt like she finally found a purpose, and now she was supposed to actively participate in shutting this system down? It wasn't enough that after slowly rebuilding from nothing she was pulled from her new calling, but when she had started to become situated here, she was expected to tear it down herself? Would she ever find some place she could truly remain and do good?
Was she, just maybe, the bad guy here?
Then there was the figure she glimpsed outside when the walls went clear. She did not see, but had heard some off-handed comments about Dis Baba while the last challenge ran, as her comrades saved yet another world. Another realm done good by this group. And they wanted to stop it!
For once in her life, Lux had no direction. She supposed she would just follow the others as she, until now, had been doing in silence.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?
—A splitsecond before the blast, the air in the shadows buzzed with the laws of physics being thrown off a cliff. Quingenti would find that his movement was now slowed to a fraction of the normal swiftness. —
Spriggan shouldered the K3 LMG, only that he has not fired the weapon yet.
"Is that Lux?" The TGS agent muttered.
Narumi began to sweat as he drew closer to Quigenti, both from fear, and from the hot air. Narumi glared at the needle and began to shoot at it, hoping that and the combined forces of the others could free him from his fate.
"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
All these combined attacks finally removed the last of the needles. Short stumps were all that remained protruding from Quingenti's shoulders. The nomad fell to the ground...
He lay there, unmoving. The obsidian shape wasn't even breathing.
"Is the bastard dead?" Gordon asked.
And then...
Quigenti shot into the air with a bout of insane laughter.
"THE STORM OF PAIN SHALL SWALLOW ALL!"
Razors materialized around Quingenti's body, thousands and thousands of them. They beging to spin, obscuring the nomad in a whirlwind of razorblades. Stabbing lances of white lightining shot from the razor tornado.

Rey blinked, then threw another bolt of shadowstuff towards the swirling mass, even as he jumped backwards and grabbed the back of the statue with his free hand to hang on, keeping it between him and the Nomad.

—From the armoured shape in the shadows came a resonant TUNG. The round screamed beyond the speed of sound for the Roman's head.—
" JUST DIE!" Narumi said, taking out his Gaia Memory and placing it in the Skull Magnum.
SKULL! MAXIMUM DRIVE!
" SKULL PUNISHER!" Narumi shouted as he fired a large plasma bullet at the torrent of razors.
SoCal Slacker
Kimimaro and Kisame took cover from the lightning attacks. Kimimaro didn't have anything he could do with Quingenti having turned himself into a lightning-shooting, bladed version of the Hyuuga Clan's Kaiten, but Kisame slammed his palms into the ground. A few seconds later, five water sharks, more "solid" than normal ones
, shot out from beneath the ground and straight up at Quingenti from directly below him.
Naoto used one of the statues for cover. She leaned out from behind it and fired shots at the Nomad, trying to aim through the tornado and for the remaining stumps.
Wild Horse
Natsu looked at the tornado of razors and lightning and decided to try to one up the thing with sheer nonsensical hotbloodedness.
"Super Random Spur of the Moment Attack: Flaming Duck Tornado!" Natsu shouted out, himself spinning like a top to create a fire tornado that roared after Quingenti's own maelstrom, though his were made out of magical flames that took the appearance of ducks amongst the regular fire, a deliciously blazing sight of burning magical energy rushing to clash with the Nomad's own twister.

Lord of Shadows
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!"
Bowser had spent the entire time charging up an attack, behind everyone else. A few seconds after he called out, a massive gout of flame was fired, soon taking up a large chunk of the hallway.
And it was centered right at the Nomad Quigenti.
To be seen, stand up To be heard, speak up To be appreciated, shut up
"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
The razor tornado was impossibly thick an incredibly difficult to pierce. It simultaneously acted as a shield and an attack, anything touching it gettign shredded, and making it very difficult to attack Quingenti himself.
Natsu's attack did the most damage. It temporarily disrupted the razor tornado and allowed several shots to get through, as well as burning Quingenti. However, moments later the tornado sealed itself again, cutting Quingenti off to all damage. bolts of white lightining, blasts of pure pain, lashed out from the tornado, threatening to engulf anyone they hit in intense pain.
It seemed like there was no way to harm the nomad within the whirling vortex... and then...
There was a bang, just in front of Quingenti. Xi was suddenly there. There was the briefest expression of complete horror on her face when she realized just how close she was to Qungenti, and then her expression hardened as she thrust her naginata forward. It battered through the razors and went in, and then through, impaling the nomad. The razor tornado clashed with the naginata and went still, the razors falling to the ground to reveal Quingenti's still-hovering form.
"Argh... you bitch!"
Before Xi could react, a bolt of white lightining caught her in the side of the head and slammed her into the nearest wall. Her head hit the wall sharply, knocking her unconcious.
Quingenti hovered. The naginata, despite impaling hi, had not killed him. But try as he might, the nomad could not call his razor tornado back into existence.
Glaring at the champions, the obsidian fiend conjured further white lightining.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."
Wild Horse
"Feh...." The flames around Natsu burned even brighter as he saw Xi manhandled. His eyes turning into a beastly glare, tremendous magical pressure rose out of his body, a perfect firestorm of barely suppressed rage at the Nomad. Concentrating all the flames into his mouth, the Dragonslayer shot out a compressed beam of the hottest flames he could muster, the thing's very presence gouging holes in the floor through sheer pressure alone. Fire Dragon's Wrathful Roar!"

Kimimaro activated his Cursed Seal and rushed in, dodging some pain-bolts and shrugging off others, his "training" under Orochimaru having given him an absurd pain tolerance, which was further bolstered by the active Seal. As he rushed in, he pulled free a tag from his pack. He leapt up, grabbing hold of the naginata still stuck in the dark Nomad.
"Have a taste... of your own medicine!"
And he slapped the lightning charm onto the staff of the naginata; lightning chakra then channeled through the blade stuck in the Nomad's body, delivering a painful and highly damaging shock to his body while also acting as a Vibro Weapon, the weapon slowly starting to cleave down through the Nomad's body, as Kimimaro leapt off.

"Blink!" Rey leapt off the back of the statue, hitting the ground and rolling immediately to his feet, running to her side, crouching beside her. He glanced back, checking her carefully, then turned, keeping himself in a crouch and between her and the fight, one fist raised slightly as he kept ready to lob a bolt of shadows if the beast approached.

Lux cautiously moved over to Rey and Blink, popping shields around them. The group seemed to not need her help at the moment, she would focus on tending to the wounded.

Narumi saw Xi being knocked out. Seeing that reminded him of his daughter, and soon, he imagined that Blink was his daughter. With rage, Narumi shot another huge blast at Quingenti.

Naoto quickly ran over to join the others around Blink and stood between them and their Nomad enemy. A blue card appeared in front of the detective, which she quickly shot. Sukuna-Hikona appeared and faced the Nomad. Suddenly glowing white glyphs appeared under the nomad, bright cards rotating around him. Suddenly it all burst into bright white light, attempting to engulf the dark Nomad.
