Spriggan noted what had happened and thus, no longer needed to use stealth tactics and equipment, though the TGS agent thought it was best to stay a bit quiet until it was safe.

How can I get up there? After seeing what the professor did, he frowned as he had no jumping abilities nor any type of climbing equipment with him.

Tau sighs and teleports to Chi. We can't leave. Don't try.

He tries to grab Chi and teleport to the Auditorium.

Flandre simply flew over the walls behind everyone else. She looked down at the carnage with mild interest, but tried to keep her mind focused. The smell of blood was distracting though.

Two of the morlocks split off from the ravening horde and turned to glance at Rey and Spriggan in perfect synchrony. Without a sound, the two anthropoid creatures made a pair of spectacular leaps and landed behind the wrestler and the TGS operative, then wrapped their misshapen arms around the chests of these two Champions and ignited their organic jetpacks. The two creatures rose into the air and blazed over the barricade in a high, tight arc, carrying their passengers with them, before landing on the other side a moment later; once they were on solid ground, the morlocks released Rey and Spriggan and then turned to rejoin the slaughter atop the walls.

Dr. Langley rappeled down the wall a moment later, alighting on the sandy ground next to the luchadore and teenaged special agent; she glanced at them in confusion for a moment, wondering just how they had managed to beat her in getting over the wall, then shook her head and took off for the temple at a run.

"Come on, we're almost at the end of this madness!"

The interior of the temple's entrance was quite dark as Ravage, Kimimaro and Flandre flew inside; the only illumination came from small lights which had been placed along the floor, casting much of the corridor into deep shadow. Unlike human dwellings, this main hallway had no distinctive walls, floors and ceiling; the entire hallway was a rough, irregular cylinder with yawning circular passageways which split off into various different tunnels to either side, above and below; every square inch of the surface was covered with intricate carvings and hieroglyphics which had been etched countless eons ago by the hands of alien artisans, and here and there conical spars of rock jutted from the lumpy plain of the corridor at regular intervals, stone formations that might have been mistaken for stalactites and stalagmites but for the geometrical precision and perfection of their forms and the intricate karkarlikarrh hieroglyphs which covered every centimetre of their conical surfaces.

Sixty meters in, the hallway broadened out into a vast, spherical chamber dominated by a large, sandstone globe which seemed to depict the planet Thor; two smaller spheres were suspended a short distance over the great stone planetoid, crude representations of the world's twin moons, and together they formed a chain of celestial bodies, a planetary alignment not unlike the one which had immediately preceded this cataclysm.

Looks like there’s been a change of plan.

Swiftly, Link ran up and fired his Longshot at the wall, vaulting over it with ease, and landed on the other side with little more than a mild jarring sensation.

He checked to make sure that the rest were over before continuing at the back of the group, his bow at the ready.

Chi broke away and tried to run again; he was nothing more than a scared little kid now.

Kimimaro slowly, cautiously approached the model of the planet & its moons, not touching it for fear of setting something off, and on the lookout for any hostiles... or signs of Dr. Ikari & his crew.

Rey grunted at the grab and lift, but didn't say anything until he was put down, only then grinning and waving after the creature as it left. "Bye, thank you!" He chuckled, turning around. "She seemed nice."

Tau tries to sound calm and mature. Chi. We'll live if you follow me to the Auditorium.

"Not sure on that..."

Spriggan told Rey before he shouldered the silenced G36C and went to catch up with the professor.

Rey grinned and ran after Spriggan. "I'm sure! We got stuff to do now!"

Ravage peered at the enormous model with a frown, pondering what it might have signified—as if he couldn't guess.

"Halt!" a synthesized voice barked from the far end of the chamber. Three soldiers had stepped forth from a gaping passageway at the opposite end of the spherical room, their approach having been obscured by the vast planetarium. These warriors were clad head-to-toe in sophisticated suits of a matte-black, high-tech armour, and in their hands they held stubby, box-shaped guns with wide muzzles. Their approach was casual, but there was something about the way they moved that suggested barely-restrained energy of some sort, power and speed held at bay through careful discipline and just begging to be unleashed.

As the Predacon was still cloaked, the soldiers had not seen him, and he moved stealthily along the curve of the chamber to get behind them.

Dr. Langley entered the chamber a moment later and immediately took aim at one of the armoured warriors; in response, one turned the dull-blue slits of his visored faceplate in her direction and pointed emphatically at her. "Doctor Aska Langley, you and your companions are trespassing in a restricted area. This is your final warning; stand down and your friends may be granted leniency and a pardon for their crimes."

Kimimaro glanced at Dr. Langley, an unspoken request for permission to attack; the very tip of a bone-blade was visible up his sleeve, and bone-bullets were visible just barely poking out of his fingertips, ready to fire. Chakra flowed through his legs, ready to Flash Step to the side in case the enemy soldiers fired.

Rey tilted his head slightly, raising his hands in what seemed like a surrendering position...but if one were looking very closely, they'd have noticed a red glow only barely visible from behind his visor.

Ravage transformed from his beast mode back to his humanoid configuration, still hidden by his internal cloaking abilities, then drew his blaster and took aim at one of the armoured soldiers. The Predacon had drawn a bead on the back of the central warrior's head—a colonel, if the insignia stencilled into his shoulder guard was any indication—and it would take only a nanoklik to pull the trigger and put an end to this latest obstruction with a minimum of fuss and effort. Between the rest of those challengers present, it would take at most a few seconds to put down these three pests so they could press on.

Dr. Langley, for her part, simply smirked and gave Kimimaro an almost-imperceptable nod. "I'm thinking...nah."

And without further ado, she pulled the trigger of her crossbow, sending a long shaft of condensed, ferrous metal streaking towards the face of the lead soldier at relativistic speeds; at the same instant, Ravage opened fire on the same warrior, aiming to blow the back of the colonel's head off.

Kimimaro took aim at the soldier on the left, and fired four bone-bullets at the man's visor.

Rey chuckled...then suddenly jumped backwards in a flipping motion, a blast of shadowstuff leaving his hands and heading for the soldiers as he flipped back, as though to avoid any retaliation.

Zod flew towards one of the soldiers at incredible speed, readying a punch that would reduce any mere human to Pink Mist...

"Things are looking up..."

Spriggan muttered as he crouched before he aim with the silenced G36C's red dot sight.

All of these attacks streaked towards their targets at speeds exceeding the sound barrier, and all had the potential to utterly ruin even the hardiest opponents.

Not a single one of them hit, however, for in the eyeblink it had taken the challengers to attack, the soldiers had abruptly vanished as though they had never been; all that remained to indicate the three armoured warriors had been standing there at all was a faint, rapidly-fading red afterimage.

Taken aback by this, Dr. Langley straightened up and swept her crossbow across the chamber in a wide arc—and suddenly one of the soldiers was standing directly in front of her. She pulled the trigger immediately, intending to skewer him through the chest at point-blank range, but in a heartbeat he had shifted a foot to one side, effortlessly avoiding the projectile. Then, before the red-headed scientist could react, the armoured soldier extended his hand and brought it down on her left bicep in a single, blindingly swift motion. A sickening crack rang out moment's later, and the crossbow dropped from suddenly nerveless fingers as Aska's organic arm went limp; jagged shards of bone were poking through the underside of her sleeve, and her mouth hung open in a silent scream of agony.

In the exact same second, one of the other soldiers appeared some twenty feet away from Ravage's position and took aim at the cloaked Predacon with that boxy gun. A low ka-chump rang out as the soldier fired, and Ravage was barely able to get out of the way in time as a shell the size of a man's fist streaked towards him. The transmetal panther threw himself forwards as the shell struck the wall behind him and promptly exploded, vapourizing a ten-foot spherical chunk of the sandstone wall behind him and spraying debris in all directions. Ravage cursed—those weren't bullets these soldiers were firing, they were rocket-propelled grenades!

Simultaneously, the third soldier appeared in front of Spriggan and drove a heavily-armoured knee towards the teen's gut at relativistic speed.

Rey blinked, then charged for the doctor, eyes wide. "Lady's hurt!"

"Fuck!"

In a flash of violet light, Kimimaro's Cursed Seal awakened, the black markings crawling across his flesh. A blur of motion signalled a devastating blow on the soldier standing over Dr. Langley, and the force behind it sent the armored figure tumbling into the wall. The man probably wasn't hurt by that, but he was away from Dr. Langley.

Kimimaro then slammed his palms to the ground, and a quarter-shell of rock sprung up from the ground and encapsuled the soldier he'd just hit, trapping him between it and the wall. He then turned to Dr. Langley, wincing at the horrible injury she'd been dealt. He pulled her over into a corner. He then picked up the railgun crossbow, loading another bolt and firing at the head of the soldier attacking Spriggan.

"What?" Narumi said flatly. He then snapped back and fired several bullets at the soldiers.

Gordon had enough of this shit. Abominations, soldiers, insanity, a now Doctor Langley's arm was broken. There was a faint click as he raised his pulse rifle. The secondary ammo disc slotted into place. He took aim at one of the three soldiers, the one who had fired on Ravage, and pulled the trigger, the orb of pure, disintergrating annihilation streaking towards his target.

Rey hurried to Langley's side, glancing around quickly, then flicking up his visor, eyes glowing brighter without the screen in the way. "Doctor lady??"
