All the other Media fora are doing it, so why not?
Currently waiting for Kingdom Come to get its ass onto the holdshelf so I can check it out. Will it be worth the wait?
Well, I haven't been reading any of Dark Reign (though I've been keeping abreast of it) and I've been waiting for Norman to finally lose it. Maybe now we'll actually get to see the Goblin in action, and we better have Spdey face off against him.
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot! It's good to see Loki replacing Norman as the Marvel Big Bad, at least for the duration of Siege. Once the heroes reunite and get their shit together, Norman shouldn't be any threat, so it's good to see a more intelligent villain being the real culprit for this story.
We Are The Wyrecats Needs Tropes!@Jhiday: I recall saying something similar about Namor in the prologue to Civil War. When the freaking Submariner is telling you you're being an arrogant, foolhardy idiot, it might be time to rethink your lifepath.
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!This is the first paragraph of Transmetropolitan: Lust For Life.
Amazing.
I also finished Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader? I feel like I would have liked it more if I knew more about Batman.

You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Dammit. I really need to read more than one volume of that! D:
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.So yeah Green Lantern #50 came out today. Blah New Lanterns running around, Atroctius has a rage-crush on Mera, Scarecrow is a fucking nutter, but mostly flying around and shooting light beams. Oh right Hal became Parralax again to fight Black Lantern Specter. Can the Specter even become a Black Lantern? I mean he is the Spirit of God's Vengeance. He wasn't alive or really dead in the first place.
Bah, I expect Hal to fight from the inside and kick fear bug out after it is worn out from fighting the Specter.
And this week's Ms Marvel was well, weird. The plot itself was fine, but for like ten pages in the middle it switched artists before switching back. Okay ugly middle art that couldn't even keep Carol's Domino Mask consistent.

Ms Marvel keeps getting random fill-in artists because it's been on the verge of cancellation for months now (and is gone after #50). The lower the sales the higher priority it is to keep on schedule, basically.
@Wicked223: I don't think it really would. That probably's Gaiman's worst comic work.

Like Shakespeare, but with more punchingWell, Your Mileage May Vary. I loved it. Worst comic work is still awesome.
An useless name, a forsaken connection.Today I got a sudden urge to read From Hell. And anything else by Alan Moore that I can get my hands on.
Also... Transmetropolitan. I liked the first volume and read FreakAngels after all.
Anything that you could recommend to a non-comic-book fan like me that likes such things?
Not that it matters... I live in the boondocks, getting my hands on literature beyond Twilight is a struggle...
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Just got both Batman: Year One and American Born Chinese.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Siege #2: Ares, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Good comics, but do they really have to kill one of my favorite characters? (Yes, I know that he will be back soon, e's just too badass to stay dead)
I'm surprised with how Gorny his death was. I expect a suspended puddle of blood, spinal column and offal in Invincible.
Yeah, even Lester was schocked. And BTW, American system or cenzorship is hipocritical - guy get's ripped in half on-panel and they censore single word. What the hell?
Finally got around to reading Marvel Boy, what with the character having been dusted back last year in the Marvel Universe.
Decidedly underwhelming. I'm reaching the conclusion that Grant Morrison is a lot more "miss" than "hit" for me.
- weeps the passing of the most awesome Avenger in the past few years *
He's whacking angels over the head with an engine block now...
We Are The Wyrecats Needs Tropes!A hyperviolent Ares and Ghost Rider team-up has the potential to be Crazy Awesome.
By now, I am REALLY FUCKING SICK of Blackest Night.
Awesome story, but unless I've miscounted, it's got 76 tie-in issues. Why do there have to be so many tie-in issues for crossovers. Might have been better if it stayed as a Green Lantern-only story like Sinestro Corps War. By this point I just can't wait till it finishes in April.
Insert vaguely inspirational quote here."Why do there have to be so many tie-in issues for crossovers."
Executives who are letting things get out of hand and have no real imagination for keeping things subtle.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Going to be reading Transmetropolitan soon due to Wicked who is awesome.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Is that referring to Transmetropolitan or me?
I read the first volume of Batman: Hush and the graphic novel adaptation of Coraline at the library today.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!Well, both, really. Except that I can't find Transmetropolitan on here which is not awesome.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.That's weird, it was on the complete list just yesterday...
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat! It's on the complete list, but I can't find it to actually read.
I guess I could read The Invisibles.

I loved that nearly everyone but Loki told Osborn this was a hugely stupid idea. When Bullseye and Venom are your voices of reason...
