I like writing too, though sometimes I can never finish what I start.

Yep, that's a problem I'm sure we've all experienced; I've had quite a few nifty ideas for stories, but most of them never get out of drydock before I abandon them.

I'd offer to help with the artwork, but my drawing skills are...lacking, to put it mildly. I couldn't draw something if my life depended on it.

I suppose I'm gonna have to pull all the weight until we can recruit more artists then? It's okay, I don't mind. It gives me something to do when I don't feel like doing homework and am at a loss for what to do instead.

Though I've been thinking; for the legendary pokemon that we feasibly cannot have any photographic evidence for them, should we instead go for paintings or something? Because I'm fairly certain no one will have seen a Jirachi a thousand years ago and have conveniently taken a snapshot of it.

Yeah, those would likely be ancient cave paintings, sketches based on eyewitness reports, recovered feathers, etc.

Except where some of the articles say otherwise, such as the up-and-coming Giratina Article, the Raikou Article, Regi articles, etc. I actually think showing an infrared scan of Raikou running somewhere would work pretty good for that.

Cave paintings, you say? Hmm... that's different; making something like that might not be so much of a problem for me.

Now if only I had a working scanner, we'd really be getting somewhere. Maybe I can whip something up with Paint in the next few days...

Personally, I think the bit at the end about Raikou being under the ownership of a trainer is a total Non Sequitur after going on the soapbox about how it is illegal to catch or pursue the thing.

That's cool. Particularly the mask; it must really be cool to show up so distinctly.

That was the intention. I kind of thought it would be like a metallic accessory that Raikou can't take off. I suppose it must be useful for something, perhaps to cool itself off after a hot day?

Ooh, niiiiice. For Deoxys, I was thinking it would be cool if the picture was a file of sorts with a few loose papers with discernable titles regarding Deoxys, along with some photographs of things related like meteors, a computer-generated image of DNA, and attemps at photographing Deoxys itself (Like part of an arm, too far away, etc.). Some of the photos and papers would be partially buried too, to give it that sort of "Unorganized file that's frequently added to or changed" look.

I haven't a clue how to edit in images into trope pages.

We can handle that when it's time. Not all of these are actual pages yet.

For starters, use the Image Uploader to upload the image, then follow the instructions to see how to post the picture in the article.

You'll probably need to shrink it down, though.

Because this thread fell to the second page, I think some meditation is in order.

Sometimes when I think of this project I tell myself, well, someone has to actually "go" and check that Magcargo's temperature does not reach five-digit numbers. Because whoever first wrote that kind of stuff in the Pokédex must have been fired, or something. Whatever the case, I can't let go off thinking that sometimes, just sometimes, science does tend to go and kind of rub in our faces the kind of route where you just start cutting your Raticate's whiskers For Science!... Oh well, so long as it brings good results...

Last year I wanted to try something and call a contest in a Spanish community to produce artwork for this project — mostly because they have Hoothoot as their symbol Pokémon and it is kinda fitting (and it reminded me of Avatar The Last Airbender). Maybe I could try call it and leave it forgotten again, I don't even actually know why it didn't got pick up last time.

In other news, is anyone available for discussion on the Vulpix line, particularly Ninetales? Maybe by MP. It would help me a lot.

Yes, I am still correcting stuff on Nidoran (and Hoothoot, gods I STILL can't come up with anything decent for childbearing; wat do?) and collecting info for the Lati@s entry... right— should I make it one entry (à-la-Nidos) or two entries? I'm leaning towards one. Also I'll have to re-study physics (argh!) for the whole feather/invisibility trick.

EDITed for clarification: not discussion on the Vulpix entry (it may come in later though); I need someone to evaluate if the way I'm going to use Ninetales for my fic makes "sense".

Wait, wasn't Ninetales done, I remember reading its article distinctly.

I've been brain dead for most of this week, a combo of extreme excitement and anticipation for Pokemon Zoroark Master Of Illusions (great scott I love that movie so much), animating, and school testing. Giratina entry hasn't gone anywhere yet and my next image is on hold in favor of drawing up frames for aforementioned animation.

If I'm not overflowing with Squee over the Zoroark Movie on Saturday I'll probably have stuff ready by then, if not then Sunday's your best bet for something new from me.

Been a bit busy lately catching up on schoolwork, and today debugging the wiki CSS. I still intend to get the Tropius biology done at some point, then maybe Snover. Or else see who's left outstanding from the first gen.
