Also, for what it's worth, this really belongs in Troper Covens, so I'm going to ask the mods to move it, and when it seems to disappear from Yack Fest, that's where it's gone.

Added a section for voices needed. Thoughts? I only realized, doing this, that the Witch doesn't actually directly say anything; all her speech is indirectly reported by the narrator.

@ Poni: Okay, gotcha. I should probably start making use of watchlist so I don't have to forumhop, lazybones me :'D

As to the quality  *

of your voice, I think you can definitely do Ganymar! You have enough mellifluity mellifluidity mellifluousness to be Ganymar-as-storyteller, which is another important aspect of him, I think.

Never read this comic before, but I'm sort of interested in doing things like this, so is it OK if I give it a shot? I don't have such a great microphone right now, since my old external one kind of broke, but I think I can mitigate that a bit by tweaking the preferences on the one I have now and using a sound editing application to remove the background noise.

None of us are exactly professional recordy people, I think :P And if you're interested, ta-da!!! It's 256 pages to date.

Sharysa, that was lovely :D I'll add it to the reading links.

Thinking about the scenes with the Lady reminds me that there are many places that will need adaptation from the visual, many more than I'd initially thought. Aheh.

Thank youuu. *basks in compliment*

I have a year of choir training and I'm studying for my Associate of Arts degree in theater, so my voice is pretty well-developed.

I know I'm not. We should make sure we can get at least one person who knows how to edit audio though, so that we don't get too much buzzing in the background and such. (Also, I don't think I'll be using vocaroo for actual lines, since it seems to add static.)

Aoed, not really to be honest. I can pitch a bit and do some growly stuff so I'm varied to be honest

@ Sharysa: Icy; that's sensical. Makes me want to take voice lessons :'D

@ Poni: Yeah, definitely not vocaroo. That's just a convenience for sounding out stuff — its quality is absolutely horrible.

@ Dorkus: No favorite characters, then? I mean, you haven't posted your voice.

Dorkus: The mention of growling made me think of the Tiger, who speaks on page 114.

Must I only be here to help you? You never change, Saint Valentine. I am here for a friend, not you. The battalion approaching to starboard—they are looking for you. You should concern yourself with that.

I'm probably going to end up doing an Archive Binge of HERO tomorrow and auditioning for a character I think I can voice well. Not tonight though, it's too late.

Aight, lookin' forward to it, Spork' :D

@ Dorkus: I have to concur with Leradny here. I think the first deepened voice you used in your recording might be something like it, in my imagination.
