Its why I'm glad KH III is going back to that system, because the Command Deck system honestly gets really boring and slow after a while.
Though I blame all of these spinoffs being on handhelds instead of consoles because of the nightmarish development of Versus XII/ XV, Final Fantasy XIII and the horrid Launch of Final Fantasy XIV taking all the resources from the KH team to work on them to get them made, and thus, any gameplay improvements that could be made from II were instead watered down for handhelds, and only now are we getting enhancements on II's formula.
Watch Symphogearthey should bring back the platforming with awkward jumping and camera angles
New theme music also a boxI think it was moreso due to the Osaka team taking the opportunity with the handheld games to experiment. Tai Yasue said as much himself.
I love II to death but the magic system could use some tweaks. Like maybe have MP Rage work during MP Recharge and not have Cure drain up literally all your MP.
Hitting things to get some MP back would also be nice. You already do that for the Drive Gauge.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Donald and Riku and. Other party members with a cure ability. Have it use 99MP instead of. All of it.
They start with 100MP, so. They can cast it twice in a row before MP charge kicks in, at full MP.
I sorta like that better? Almost all of it instead of literally all of it.

So it seems like we don't need to worry about KHIII being lacking in "resolution." That's a relief...
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."x2 I'd just prefer having Cure cost between 70 and 100 MP. Or something. Enough that you can't cast it more than twice before your MP is gone, but not so much that you can't do anything after a single cast.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? What about the D a r k n e s s filter?
Mileena MadnessI prefer the Kh 1 Cure and BBS Cure, I want to press the X button to smash things and not have to worry about getting one shotted.
"Analay, an original fan character from a 2006 non canon comic. Do not steal!"I mean, I do think making it so cure can't be spammed makes a degree of sense balance-wise.
I guess but it also needs to be reasonable so that your whole MP bar does ot get consumed..
"Analay, an original fan character from a 2006 non canon comic. Do not steal!"Okay hang on
does hitting things while in MP Charge not make the bar fill faster? I always thought it did.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Nope. If you have the right ability, getting hit does, but the meter goes down at the same rate one way or the other if you're hitting or not hitting your foe.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. The Final Boss of Kingdom Hearts III will be the size of a galaxy, and using the x Blade, you trans form into a planet size mech to fight it.
It would also have those hming lasers that the fights with Aso D and Xemnas liked to spam in their giant ship forms, the ones that track you and try to shoot at you, only they are the size of planets and a bunch of dead worlds end up being destroyed as collateral.
Considering that Nomura has wanted to do a final level of something like this since his days as a monster designer from Final Fantasy IV, it has to be something really special.
Going full on Getter Robo and Gurren Lagann on Xeanhort would be the best conclusion against that asshole.
Watch SymphogearI think a mix between 1 and 2's MP bars would be perfect. You can recover MP by hitting/getting hit/MP bubbles and if it gets depleted it recharges over time, which you can speed up by hitting/getting hit/MP bubbles. And Ethers/Elixirs.
Secret SignatureRandom question, but is there a general consensus on what the hardest boss in the entire series is?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I'm pretty sure the hardest boss is considered to be Lingering Will, but I've seen arguments for Riku-Ansem, Zodiac Aqua, and the Vanitas palette swap as well.
It's been 3000 yearsβ¦isn't there also no heart ?
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Vanitas Remnant might be hiding behind BBS's terrible boss design and gameplay balancing, but he's still way too easy to cheese to be considered the hardest.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I just based things on how hard it is to take him on without cheesing.
It's been 3000 yearsβ¦It's BBS. You either cheese to bypass the bullshit or GTFO.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? How about non bonus bosses? Which mandatory boss is the hardest in the entire series?
Xiggy and Roxas are pretty hard in II.
Terranort in BBS can suck it.
Days bosses are typically more annoying than hard.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?xaldin in 2 is a pretty regular contender IIRC
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."
I mean, there's something weirdly satisfying about recovering MP by hitting things.
It makes me feel like an active participant in my own MP recovery.
Equally, KHII's system makes it so you're never entirely screwed and unable to get MP back.
I feel like. Combining the two. Is an obvious trick.
