Most humanoid robots we've seen have either completely robot faces, pretty much human faces, or cartoony faces. I've not yet seen one that has a pretty much human face minus nose.

Korea also has a holiday that is translated as Korean Thanksgiving for simplicity's sake. It takes place in autumn as well, so I think that any country that has harvest celebration type holiday will just translate it as *insert country name* Thanksgiving.

UK Harvest Festival (or sometimes Harvest Thanksgiving) is less about eating a ton of food ourselves (we save that for Christmas), and usually more about collecting food for the homeless/worse off. But I'm pretty sure most countries have a harvest festival or one sort or another.
Not that this has anything to do with the comic, just wanted to add my bit.
