Such is the power of his Judgement Nut.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterIts a scary thought to know that Nero was born out of a random tryst.
Because it opens up the possibility of if there's more. I mean if Vergil payed for a prostitute once, he could have done it again.
Then there's Dante if he's actually had any one-night stands.
Were lucky Nero turned out good but what if there's more hellspawn out there all over the world as a result of the Sparda brothers travels?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I like to think most of them probably lead pretty normal lives that have nothing to do with demons. I imagine one of them being a member of the IRS. He and Dante don't get along very well. But he gets his uncle is doing an important job so he cuts him some slack from time to time.

...as funny as the idea of Vergil shacking up with a random prostitute is given how he carries himself, I mean, you're telling me there are prostitutes in Fortuna? Sure it's a satanic cult but, I mean, everything about that place screamed zealous, orderly people living in some kind of holy, sanctimonious city.
With demons running around in broad daylight, admittedly, but still, I wouldn't have pegged Fortuna as a place that would have brothels.
It would explain a lot about Vergil hooking up with some random woman we never meet. I could really see it - he's not glowing at the idea of procreating with humans, but he's got needs.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Hey every town has its seedy side, even the wholehearted ones.
Its one of those underground things.
As long as its keep hidden out of the public eye, it will operate though with the law after it.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Heck, the more orderly a place appears on the outside the more likely it is to have a seedy underbelly. You repress people and they will find an outlet.
Disgusted, but not surprisedLet's remember that this was a city where the head of a religious organization was experimenting with demonic powers and had no problem attacking his own people to reach his goal of godhood.

Man, the thought of Vergil having sex being canon is still surprising to me to this day (perhaps even more so)
Like, He just looks like the character that doesn't care for it
ยกPONLE QUE DIGA!:"ยกHUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"You guys were killing me last page oh my god lol.
Vergil just ordering a random prostitute seems out of character though. What's the deal behind their meeting?
Even he has needs.
And jacking off just ainโt cutting the trick.
Plus heโs too much of a douche to seduce a woman & too honorable/decent to rape one so paying one off is the best option.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I forget. Was Nero's mom actually a prostitute or was that something the kids orphanage teased him about?
35 year old white man.didn't he just want to try that sex thing once?
Secret SignatureNew V-centric trailer, courtesy of IGN.
In it: Dante Must Die.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That url tho
I don't know how the Hell I missed that.
Damn peripheral vision, there's a trope for that right?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I don't think the actual identity of his mother is anyway confirmed for like anything (aside from, one would imagine, being a woman), so it's just the latter.
I do have a theory of who V is now.
I am thinking Vergil tried to strip himself of his humanity and V became the human part of Vergil while Urizen is the devil part. Without his demonic power V seems to be falling apart and hence wants the Devil Sword Sparda (A big source of the stuff) to keep himself from dying.
In this vein while it looks like Dante is to be killed by V, V is actually going to save him at expense to himself. Dante's hair is black for this scene, if Urizen took Dante's power to sustain himself, V at this point will be giving up his chance to live for Dante by giving Dante the sword's power instead of taking it for himself. This lines up with Griffon's objection since dialogue seems to imply if V dies his familiars will die with him.

Dante's hair isn't black in that scene. It's a mix of dark lighting and it being caked in blood.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Is that so? It kind of looks like he's just got greying black hair. Either way though I feel like its a fake out and stabbing Dante will just give him a jumpstart.
Also did anyone catch what exactly V's book did?

Oooh, I think I saw Griffon using that V shaped lightning attack from the Devil May Cry 1 boss fight.
Do V and Griffon remind anyone of Jafar and Iago from Disney's Aladdin?
I said that exact thing on another site.
Griffon will forever be Iago to me now.
You now have the image of what Vergil looks like when having sex. This was truly what the world needed.
Also, all this time and no jokes about Vergil being too fast in bed? I'm dissapointed.
