Will no one rid the forums of this troublesome thread?
... Okay, that's not really helping.

Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought that a rhetorical request was an order worded as a request.
Right now, as I type this post, Rhetorical Request Blunder is dead on 66.6666...% (20 in favor to 10 opposed.) It is the only one that has a positive total. I suspect that's as good as we're going to get, barring a sudden bolt of inspiration hitting someone and a new proposed name completely unlike any of the others that have been suggested.
If it hasn't dropped below that tomorrow at noon forum time, I'm going to make the change.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Ye gods, it got past +10. Anybody seen any crow about?
Change it, lock it and run before it succumbs to this thread's curse.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAgreed. Do it quick, before we get a rush of votes and get stuck here for another two months.
This is a serious candidate for the Longest Time In The Repair Shop award.
Accidental mistakes are forgivable, intentional ones are not.Do it to it, folks. Rhetorical Request Blunder. The Laconic is cute, but needs to be changed. The point of Laconics is clarity and brevity.
Crowner locked, Page moved, YKTTW moved. Rid Me Of This Priest made into a redirect. That Wasnt An Order re-rediected to Rhetorical Request Blunder. Thread locked.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
Crown Description:
The Definition that the name needs to fit is as follows: A person says something he does not mean literally; he does not mean for it to happen. Someone else hears the statement and interprets it as an order or request. The person who heard it acts on it, believing it to be the genuine desire of the speaker. This results in something the person who made the statement did not want or expect. Upon learning that the non-order was carried out, the person thought to have issued it is displeased.- The speaker does not
- have to be alone when he makes the statement,
- have to believe that no one heard him say it.
- His awareness of or lack of awareness of the person who heard him is irrelevant.
- The result does not have to be death or even serious harm.
- The relationship between the person speaking and the person acting is irrelevant.
- The statement does not have to be phrased as a rhetorical question.
- The statement does not have to be made in anger or frustration.
It would be a shame if an accident were to happen to it.
