With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.: Use this code: [[ youtube : videoid ]] Where it says "video ID," put in that string of numbers and letters that comes after the "watch?=" bit in a 'tube URL. Also remove the spaces.

"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaMaybe the Tablet could have the camera zoom out to see the full map without needing to pause, but only shows where you've walked to, kinda like old RTS maps?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Woohoo. With the Wii U's controller, there's so much potential to refine the gameplay of the series. And with heechdee, the Pikmin will probably look like the ones in the commercials- ah never mind.
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.Pikmin ideas: Pink Pikmins: 1) They increase the abilities of the nearby pikmins. 2) They reproduce on their own by splitting in two every few seconds. 3) By the first and second point, more pink pikmins you band together, more frequently they split.
That just seems like it would be a pain to manage. I would be fine with a "buff other Pikmin" while being fairly weak by theirselves type though.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonCyan Pickmin can survive extreme colds and cross ice quickly and easily by ice-skating. However fire is instant death.
Black Pickmin: in extremely rare super Pickmin with the abilities and secondary characteristics of all of them.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. So, the Bulbmin from Pikmin 2 with the weight and strength of a purple?

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonYa like that and the only Black flowers are at the bottom of this insane dungeon In the final area. Sure you can get back to it anytime you want but the risk reward thing will be significant.

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Won't that just make them kind of pointless?
- You don't get them until the very end .
- They're incredibly rare and take a lot of effort to get more of
- Your other types, including the "Flower Only" Purples and Whites, are much more expendable and can do their own jobs perfectly
If you have 10 or so of each kind in a dungeon, you're basically set. Why risk so many to get maybe 5 Black Pikmin per visit?
I want more hazard beaters, like the Cyan type above or something with a unique ability.
How about a chameleon type? Susceptible to all hazards, but if they aren't moving they blend in with the environment. Good for avoiding things like roaming Bulbears

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonDid I say theirs only one flower? No theirs enough to get 50 per visit
also I might be wrong but isn't the Infinity +1 Sword always impractical?
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Pfft no. For an example, Golden Sun's Sol Blade is essentially the most powerful weapon in the game with a high base attack, a very high Unleash rate, and a very strong Unleash.
The closest Long Sword type weapons aren't nearly as consistently awesome. The Darksword has higher base attack, but a crappier Unleash. The Excalibur's Unleash does variable damage, but can do better damage if you're lucky.
It's incredibly easy to get the Sol Blade as it's just in a chest early in the Very Definitely Final Dungeon while the above two are luck based from the blacksmith.
The point I want to make clear about your Black Pikmin is that by the time you get them, you probably won't need them, especially if the only missing treasures you haven't collected are in the final dungeon and because you'll have several hundred reserves of the other types anyway. I know Pikmin 3 may not have treasures as its point, but try to bear with me.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonI meant to acquire.
okay my comparison will be Majoras Mask you never need the fierce deity but allows you to punch the little creep in the face. You don't need black Pikmin but it's going to make the The Very Definitely Final Dungeon about half as hard as it is already. Also I'm not one for precise details but there will be at least one very valuable treasure that you can only get by using Black Pikmin.
and maybe New Game Plus will have new dungeons where we can find our lost onions. Including the black onion
Also here's another idea
Green Pikmin: they have extra-large flowers and are able to hover in the air you can throw them in the air and they will stay there. I'm still working on how you actually use them.

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Again, see the Sol Blade, which only requires a very simple puzzle to earn. Infinty+1 weapons can be really easy to get sometimes.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave Johnsonforgive me I jump to conclusions and did not read the previous post through the first time
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. If there are like little wind gust things, I could see having puzzles revolving around the Green Pikmin.
Throw them up where there's a little breeze going, which pushes them towards something. Like a switch or item. But they would have to be towards places that a Yellow Pikmin couldn't handle.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave Johnsonthats good/. I also came up with another one actually I always had it but didn't know what to do if you needed more than one. You can throw them over gaps have them hang their and throw other Pikmin atthem. They will then throw them frater. If the distances they need to go is farther than that if you just throw a green Pikmin and it will act as the next steppingstone.
hope I explained that right

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. How about a type that can grab onto hand holds? That way if there is a branch with places for them to grab onto hanging over a gap, you could throw one up so that it can pass other 'mins onto the other side. Also, that prevents overlap with Green's floating ability

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Black Pikmin would be a upgrade type pikmin, like purple and white. They would have all the abilities of the other pikmin, but they would have a much shorter lifespan, like a third of a day. The minuite they come out, it's a race against time to make the most use of them: a Deadly Upgrade, if you will.
EDIT: idea for green pikmin: throw them into updrafts where they can hover in place, them use their overly large flower-heads as platforms.

A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail. That's Mean
I have that only backwards and more complicated
So
- Red Pikmin Immune to fire have noses
- Blue Pikmin can swim and have mouth
- Yellow Pikmin I thrown higher can carry boombs impervious to electricity have ears.
- Purple Pikmin are 10 times heavier and stronger and have hair
- White Pikmin our immune to poison can find things underground and have those really creepy red eyes
- Green Pikmin: can hover in place when you throw them
- Cyan Pikkmin can survive extreme colds and cross ice quickly and easily by ice-skating. However fire is instant death. They have a a mustache
- Orange Pikmin: are able to scale sheer walls and hold onto handgrips and have beards.
- Black Pickmin: in extremely rare super Pickmin with the abilities and secondary characteristics of all of them.

OK, so it's not the same thing, but it's something to be happy about at least!
