I have Obito flashbacks now, thanks!
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Fair point
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYa know I like the idea that even as Korra grows & becomes wiser, she never really grows out of that warriors mindset she always had.
Like she does become more wiser in handling matters but wiser in the sense of like a military general.
She never truly gets the hang of the political & spiritual but does a fine enough job in the end regardless.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Given all the shit she had to go through in the show, I can hardly blame her for sticking to the warrior spirit. Especially after that whole Earth kingdom civil war.
Optimism is a duty.It also makes a huge amount of sense: Remember Aang having his picture taken at 40 and doing the same silly trick with the balls (complete with the face :D ) he did way back when he first arrived at Kyoshi Island as a twelve-year-old boy?
God that scene is beautiful.
Nice to know that even after experiencing the brutality of adult-hood, Aang was still the same old goof-ball at heart.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I know :D One of my favourite scenes. It's nice to know that for all the mistakes he may have made as a parent and even after the shitton of crap he had to go through in his life he never lost that side of his.
&Yes. :)
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.Honestly, it's the only scene in Legend of Korra where we see Aang's fun, goofy side.
I mean, it's fine because he's an adult but Aang otherwise seemed pretty miserable whenever he appeared in LOK.

We never do hear any wacky stories about him from his kids.
From the way they talk you think he was 100% serious 24/7.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Maybe the death of Sokka took it's toil, maybe?
New theme music also a boxHow long did sokka live?
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Pretty sure he died shortly after the Red Lotus' attempt to kidnap baby Korra.
Children do tend to have a distorted image of what their parents are really like. Perhaps they only saw him when he was at home and in parenting mode.
Optimism is a duty.I feel like that’s part of the reason Tenzin had the closest relationship with him (other than the obvious). It’s said that Tenzin got to go on missions and “educational trips” with Aang, which gives the implication that he got to see Aang managing his Avatar duties firsthand. Also, Aang and Lin apparently got along famously while she and Tenzin were dating at the time.
Tenzin actually got to see Aang as a parent, his Airbending teacher, and the Avatar. It’s safe to assume Aang was also probably his best friend.
Damn, we really need an epilogue for Aang and the gang.
The Avatar universe is expanding with new projects, new formats, and new approaches!
"Finally!"
"New formats", so, let's run down the list of options:
- A novel.
- A movie.
- A stage play.
- A drama CD.
- A song album.
I vote rock opera.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.sock Puppet theatre!

Forever liveblogging the AvengersYes, definitely, absolutely
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMy God these scenes become even more hilarious than they already are with the power of hindsight.
Now it’s “Asami did you know Korra likes you?”

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Quote old, actually, since he is supposed to be older than the Gaang.
Optimism is a duty.
