So, this has been bugging me for a while, but my intended Character Development for Quasp is probably going to make him very, very similar to Alexei on the whole, to the point where it I feel like it would almost create a One-Steve Limit-y situation. For reference, I was intending on a mixture of Tohno and Nanaya Shiki, IN SPACE.

So I was thinking of either leaving altogether or making a new ace. Unless someone feels like acting as foils might be interesting, but I really don't there's even enough difference to do that.

And leaving would be unfortunate, since you're not only a good roleplayer, but your characters are pretty well into the RP- Them just vanishing wouldn't be like Annabel vanishing, it would be like Hobbes vanishing.

Also, on that note, where's Absynthe? Has she quit or what? Be nice for some info...

Snoozy: Don't leave! The characters won't interact much for awhile anyway, and by then I'm sure you'll have created a strong, unique character. So please don't. :(

Quasp strikes me as different. Alexei is a brilliant but lazy slacker with a heart of gold, while Quasp's sense of idealism and rebelliousness comes from his sense of responsibility to the crew.

I mean Alexei seems content to sit back and just be nice when he's called on, while Quasp seems more determined to change the world for the better.

Faux: Lorraine is on Cell Block B.

It doesn't matter if they interact, it's the principle of the thing.

It'd be like having two Emotionless Girl characters in the same story (admittedly, Haruhi has this, but one was desgined to different from the other from the outset). It just feels awkward from a narritive perspective.

Though it's also a pity considering I've already written the first part of Not-Tohno talking with Cool Big Sis Not-Ryougi.

Uhh... zzz, you may be being a bit overly critical about yourself and your characters. Really, it's not a problem if your characters are similar. I mean, hell, look at how many of the original players were silent/quiet and asocial, or how many of the Feds were secretly (or not so secretly) traumatized.

It's a Forum RPG. If we ever get an anime or something, we can edit things around then.

Freddie has good intentions but I can imagine him being honestly confused.

Also, fair warning: Earl BSOD'd a while ago. He will probably be fairly safe from vomiting, angst or disillusionment.

Seems unlikely. Fred's been in his forced position for over a year, and the blocks (A-E) are organized according to prisoner health.

Also, to recap. You're heading for Block B, where Roxanne is, but are at Block D right now.
