Sadly, I don't have the panzer and Alexei's upgrades, BUT!

YO-08-M 'Kusanagi'

  • Medium Mook (80%) (2act)
  • Beam Rifle: mid-ranged: 20%, 30%, 45%: rapid fire
  • Beam Saber x2: Melee: 25%, 40%, 60%
  • Physical Shield: Provides protection when active, -1 to hit. Decreases melee damage by 15% as well.
    • Bash: Use shield as a melee weapon. Does 10%, 15%, 25% damage, and on a 4 or higher it shoves the enemy out of melee range.

YO-08-1 'Kusanagi Knight Custom' Tsubaki Custom

  • Mid (150%) (3act)
  • Beam Rifle x2: mid-ranged: 25%, 35%, 50%: rapid fire
  • Blades x2: Melee: 55%, 60%, 75%
  • Limiter Release System: Removes restrictions core power. Gives 1 extra AP for two turns, but afterwards there's a -1 penalty to all actions for 3 turns. Can only be used once per battle.

It is, but then it gets slightly annoying. Since the battleships' health values are determined by Subsystems... Well, there are only so many subsystems possible, and I've stopped including turret health in the total...

Basically, the choice is to either make them need to be destroyed via armor damage (which is not what we were going for, we were going for precise, accurate damage to cripple them), go with low-health superships, make the Subs themselves have higher armor, or other.

As for GM-ing, what affect does rapid fire have?

Also, how do we determine range? Does the player specify or?

Just how far into the interior is this planet anyway?

Can ships just go from one planet to another or do they have to stop at certain systems like a road?

I'd imagine battleships would have a lot of armor plate subsystems.

I was wondering how the Feds got to this world and some of my memoirs make no sense if ships can go strait from any one planet to another regardless of distance.

Probably ships don't travel too long at FTL in The Flow without stops. It would strain the engines which are really expensive, plus if they broke while in the middle of transit you'd be in a really bad position. Also there are negative space wedgies and stuff to avoid, space is just full on stuff. ~.^

I'm just making things up. :3

What I was thinking was, part of the past, for the Cents it right before the RP starts, is defending a planet with everything they could grab because if they lose that star system it could be used as a staging ground for an attack on three others major planets and the Cents couldn't defend all three at once. They repel the invasion but the fact that they were so close to a devestating attack on their inner worlds is what brought them to the negotation table.

And it explains why there are only three people active in the regiment before the new folks started coming in.

Here's an idea.

Mythril's a fuel source, which means they'll need more to move places. And we've already established (way back when zzz first joined) that there are countermeasures and ways to stop FTL travel. This is why the Centauri and Federation have not simply jumped straight to Earth or Alpha Centauri- Either natural or artificial forces have created a wall between the two civilizations. However, there are gaps in this wall, ways of getting around it- The important planets who could be used to stage assaults on the inner systems.

This planet that you're talking about could be one of those that could be used to break the defensive line, and start and actual assault, not to mention a refueling station for those thirsty battleships.

Also, The explanation I'm going with is even though it's a provincial captial, Ubekon is not terribly well equipped in terms of defense due to infighting over funding.

So the invasion force just dropped out of flow, surrounding the planet. (Yes, in a sphere)

Hydrall didn't list the Seraphim, but I will list the Castellan.

Cool. So after the horrible defeat at Fuchsia the Centauri retreated to the Lavender System, this is where the regiment gets its first taste of combat as a team. They are defeated again and this takes them to planet Saffron. Here they must hold AT ALL COSTS or the three inner worlds and worlds after them can be attacked without fear. Casualties were high in the regiment.
