Man. This comic used to be so good. Or I used to enjoy it so much, anyway.
It's weird, I've been on a kick of "enjoy things for what they are, criticize but don't nitpick and if you don't enjoy something just drop it" as of late. And somehow Homestuck just... bypasses that. Too many memories tied up here probably. Can't really think about it without being tinted by a thick lens of nostalgia and alternatively rose and jade colored glasses. Maybe one lens of each, who knows.

She really does. She's an interesting character, too. In that interesting middle ground where she does kinda care about Riko, but she's still an asshole to her.

I'm starting to hate the Alternian animal naming convention. They don't all have to be something-beasts, you know? In canon, we also have "honkbirds" and "nut creatures," but in fan and supplementary works, you rarely see such (marginally) cleverer terms.
