I think I agree with your general premise, but how many examples of the second one are actually on the page?
I've been trying to clean up and maintain this page, and think I got rid of all or most of your "Type B," which isn't part of the trope description.

The trope is used for both, but it is a naturally broad trope - it's whenever the traditional gender roles in a certain medium are flipped, which would include tropes as well as plots and works.
I doubt we really need to take action, but if we do we don't need anything more than a soft split.

It is used for two tropes:

The former is about copying a particular character, the latter is about flipping certain character stereotypes, archetypes, and common trope usages.
