Really?
Huh. Not sure how to feel about 'port being a switching move, and it sounds like it's pretty deadly when combined with the right moves.
One Strip! One Strip!Let's explain this one: You know switching happens the first thing in the turn, and thus the Pokemon that gets switched in will likely eat an attack, right? You know U-Turn/Volt Switch and Parting Shot are moves that trigger a switch, and are used as momentum preservers, as well? And you may have heard of using said moves with slow 'mons, to allow you to bring something in safely and pretty much have a false revenge kill.
Teleport is now one of those moves. However, its extra effect, rather than damaging or lowering stats, is that it has negative priority. Its user will eat the attack, and then switch in safely anything. Perhaps fully healing it by using Wish.
It is very powerful.
Its mainly a problem on fatty mons, but absolutely on ones with wish support.
It is kinda complex to get, as it requires using the TM in Let's Go for most of its users (although Gardevoir may be able to pull it decently).
Still, watch it become a tutor move in the DLC.
As I recall, every Psychic Pokemon who didn't learn it naturally could learn it as a TM couldn't they?
One Strip! One Strip!Fought a Shiny Wooper in a Max Raid. It escaped. Honestly I'm not too upset. I was never gonna use a Quagsire anyway.
RIP KissAnime.I'm thinking of all of the fully unused type combinations, and what could be the inspiration of a pokemon with that typing, with a preference for West African inspirations, or retyping some pokemon that I think were wrongly decided.
- Bug/Dark: Repurpose Mega Beedril's design elements as a regional variant
- Bug/Dragon: Retype Yanmega and Scyther
- Bug/Normal:
- Dragon/Fairy: Retype (and buff) regular Altaria
- Electric/Grass:
- Electric/Fire:
- Electric/Fighting:
- Fighting/Fairy:
- Fairy/Fire: A sun god inspired light spirit
- Alternatively, retype Victini (but Fire/Psychic is a rare combination itself)
- Fire/Grass: Retype Celebi
- Fire/Ice: an idea I'd previously stated for a tiger-like line, Felcius, Panthermal, and Tempantera
- Ghost/Normal:
- A humanoid that holds a mask, through which it can channel ancestors' spirits
- A zombie, not alive or dead, but undead
- I'd had another idea, but it was too dark and sad and its history should be forgotten
- Ghost/Rock: A Ghost Crab
- Ground/Fighting:
- Ground/Fairy:
- Ice/Normal:
- Ice/Poison:
- Normal/Poison: An Echidna
- Normal/Rock: A fossil hominid, though that would raise more questions than answers, even though we already know humans and Pokemon used to be seen as more similar
- Normal/Steel: A pangolin
- Poison/Steel: A tetanus/lockjaw themed caiman
Still couldn't come up for ideas for some of them yet.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThat list seems outdated, considering there is a Fire/Ice type in Galarian Darmanitan.
Also, I always thought Electabuzz should have been Electric/Fighting.

RIP KissAnime. That list seems outdated, considering there is a Fire/Ice type in Galarian Darmanitan.
I think this is ignoring forms? Which strikes me as silly, given that there's no guarantee of any pokemon being around any more. Either look at everything or at what's available in a single region
Vileplume did poorly in Gen 1, better in gen 2, and a became a low tier power house in Gen 3 onward, all the while being in Venusaur's shadow the whole way through.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."My idea for Bug/Dark was a Vespiquen that went full tyrant, either as a Mega to the basic Vespiquen or a more aggressive regional variant.
Concept: An ability similar to Regenerator, that instead heals the Pokemon who switches in by 30%. Give that to Mega Audino and other "healer" Pokemon.

I'd like a burning tree for a Fire/Grass type. Maybe a regional variant of Trevenant?
Another thing I'd really like to see is an alternative to Fire/Water/Grass for the starter trio. It's possible.
Rock/Flying/Fighting and Psychic/Dark/Fighting all work.
Grass/Fire is a good typing for a jalapeño 'mon.
electric/Water type mon go
New theme music also a boxGimme an Electric/Ice aurora pokemon.
Lanturn.
RIP KissAnime. It’s possible, but pretty much always a dumb idea.
Grass/Fire/Water works for the starter trio for a few reasons.
1) It is balanced. Grass is strong against and resists Water, is weak against and resisted by Fire, and resists itself. Fire is strong against and resists Grass, weak against and resisted by Water, and resists itself. And Water is strong against and resists Fire, weak against and resisted by Grass, and resists itself. No other three types have that exact combination of properties.
Flying/Fighting/Rock is close, and is an alright substitute, because it is balanced. All of them are neutral towards themselves, and are strong against/resist one of the types and weak against/resisted by the other.
Psychic/Fighting/Dark, the more popular of the two options, is not at all a proper trio. Psychic is strong against Fighting, which is strong against Dark, which is strong against Psychic. But Psychic and Dark resist themselves; Fighting is neutral to itself. And Psychic and Fighting resist Fighting and Dark respectively; Dark is immune to Psychic. As a trio it only has one of the properties that makes Grass/Fire/Water special.
2) It is intuitive. Every single Pokémon game is somebody’s first, so every starter is someone’s first Pokémon ever. Grass/Fire/Water is a simple combination to understand as you start learning about type matchups. There are very simple real-world implications to the way they interact. The other two choices just don’t have that.

I should add Zeraora absolutely should have been Electric/Fighting.
Like, big miss opportunity there.
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"It even has "ora" in the name!
RIP KissAnime. So I wonder how many genderless legendaries are supposed to have an actual gender? Supposedly Solgaleo is male and Lunala is female, which is supported considering how you get Cosmog. Zacian is theorized in-universe to be the sister of Zamazenta, implying it's female. Mewtwo has a male voice, but there's also supposedly another Mewtwo with a female voice. Genuinely curious if there are any others.
RIP KissAnime. If we're including the anime then there's a male and female Lugia.
Its so good its highly likely that we may see a ban in the near future, or maybe a complex ban of wish/teleport. Clefable has completely devoured OU and tourneys, but Chansey and Blissey are both en route in 10 days.
