I wouldn't say stop at 1000, but definitely slow the pace down, so they add maybe 50 per generation. We don't need any more clones of the same archetypes, and we don't need any new legendaries beyond up to 3 per generation. There's plenty of opportunity to do regional variants and buff existing mons or give more of a reason to use them.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI like seeing new mons and new ideas. If anything, I'd like another region entirely composed of new stuff
I honestly would prefer that they just slow down and focus on balancing/diversifying what we already have, but that's not what drives this franchise. New stuff is inherently more exciting than old, even old with a fresh coat of paint.
But the Let's Go games sold crazy well so who knows.
Stupid idea incoming: Westeros, Pokemon version.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Would be interesting see how the setting would be like if Danyrys isn't the only person with dangerous creatures at her disposal.
They don't have to stop, have no reason to stop, and are financially rewarded with not stopping. 1000, 2000, whatever. We'll keep getting new Pokemon till the end of time.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Plus, with regional variants and now regional evolutions, they can put new spins on old mons, and they arent afraid to double dip as the meowth line now has 3 seperate variantions.
My sister gave me her DS so I'm going to play Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Black. Which one should I focus on?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I’d say Pokemon Black considering that it runs better and while it only has the pokemon introduced to make up the amount of pokemon before post game, I think the type distribution is mostly equal and unless you don’t exactly care for plot, I think you might enjoy the plot more.
Also I could see potential in a Pokemon game set in either the Mushroom Kingdom or Hyrule (Mushroom Kingdom is more interesting to me tbh.)
For regional variants I had and idea for Electric/Fighting variants of Sabeleye that could live in Chargestone cave or an area that were to call back to Chargestone that due to the electrified crystals could influence the diet of the Darkness pokemon, maybe even a new evolution instead of a Mega Evolution. Maybe said evolutions is faster too.

Pokemon Black
New theme music also a boxGalar has any good Gen 8 Fairy Tail....types besides Impidimp? I'm about to fight Milo, but I keep running into Milcery and I'm not sure whether to just wait to catch it, wait to find Hatenna's pre evolution or the little cute demon himself.
Milcery is decent, but it's more of a support Pokemon.
Where there's life, there's hope. What's the consensus on Galarian Rapidash?
It's been 3000 years…It's a mediocre mon
EDIT: Kantonian Rapidash is UU, what?

Where there's life, there's hope.Alcremie and Rapidash-G are perfectly valid for ingame tho.
For the record, Hatterene and Rapidash only get their Fairy typing upon fully evolving, in the early 40's; pure Psychic beforehand.
I think Basculin is the only unviable Pokemon for the campaign, and Leon is the only challenge anyway.
Yes, this means that Zweilous is perfectly viable. Slap an Eviolite on that bitch and start spamming physical Max Moves.

Where there's life, there's hope.Like a level 64 Hydreigon wrecks anything the last two badges and tournament can throw at you.
Yes, i went through the trouble of catching a level 50 Deino, leveling it the old fashioned way, and brought it to Endgame.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Rapidash had tolerable stats and typing but 2 lackluster abilities sealed its fate. Its a shame really.
Run Away and Anticipation both need a buff. Maybe have the former allow you to ignore the effects of trapping moves/abilities, and have the latter give some kind of bonus against the super-effective moves it detects (like taking less damage from them or having a chance to avoid/endure them).
@fredhot16
If time isn't an issue and you've definitely going to play both go with Diamond first then play Black.
If you're not sure if you'll have time/motivation for both then Black is the superior option.
