Momiji is pretty cool. I hope we get some more behind that. But honestly, I just want to see things go to hell. First step towards that, Eris needs to have some kind of powers. There needs to be an equal sided conflict, otherwise this goes nowhere.

But glasses girl is A) actually hitting on the guy and B) a stone-cold killer.

I actually like that it's not all bloody violence like Elfen Lied. I mean, I like my Villain Protagonists as much as any average person, but it's nice to have someone whose killing is at least somewhat justified - or at least it SEEMS like it's justified.

Yeah, but without that, we just have your average Harem Comedy.

No, no, this is your regular Harem Comedy with ALIENS. AND MILITARY ACTION. AND magical materializing guns and weird first contact cults and apparently normal schoolgirls spying on their childhood friends with military equipment and gun armories in otherwise normal homes and apparently invincible meganekkos.

See, Harem Comedies can be special even without having to have blood and gore.

^ Yeah, even if it tries to play traight every single harem trope from now on, the premise alone is weird enough that enough originality will remain until the end.

And what ever Likeing I had for the red head, Manami, is either pretty much gone, or not as strong as before.

Manami, you fucking moron, you don't shoot people with a gun when they see you naked, especailly Kio, who was worrried for you and trying to help you. Futaba the black haired girl, even called you out on it. And you didn't even feel bad at all for doing so.

I did like the catiens that were shown, they were all hilarious and awesome.

I've only watched the first two episodes of this thing, and it's like...well, it feels like what we would get if Michael Bay was asked to direct an anime with an Unwanted Harem story. 'SPLOSIONS! GUNS! TITS!

Supposedly this show is based off a light novel series, but like a couple other light novel-based anime series I'm wondering how many sentences in each book ended with some variation of "...and then he stared at her breasts."

Not that I hate shows with fanservice, but they could at least try to put in some kind of plot beyond "catgirl loves food!" mixed with random setpiece battles. Maybe it'll get better later on, but I don't know if I have the patience to find out.

I find it cute for the most part, actually .

(Well The spoiler I put up for the third episode is only annoyuing part fo rme so far. God I hate Tsundere style overreaction.)

I'm always amazed at how Light Novel-based works often seem to have a fuckton of fanservice, considering it's not a particularly visual medium. Maybe they read like Twilight, where the narrative won't let you forget that Character X is the sexiest thing since sex.

Actually Its the opposite. I read the first Shana novel, and it was written really well and not at all like Twilight.

The Catheans Gag Boobs are REALLY disturbing. T Hey make me nauseous.

I think part of it is that they're actually drawn in a somewhat natural shape, which makes it all the more clear how FUCKING GIGANTIC they are.

Also, the premise of "humans encounter aliens that are just too silly" is somewhat amusing.

Ew. I mean, Momiji is kind of cute and Manami has a certain charm, but the Catheans are just disgusting...

Bored enough last night that I decided to take a look at episode 3. So now there's apparently an evil dog-alien faction that infiltrated the Earth long before the cat-girl aliens? Okay, I admit that does sound kind of funny.

Also, if the red-headed girl was so damn embarrassed about being stared at you think she'd put on some fucking clothes instead of shooting at her friend with a lethal weapon? Either you prioritize catching the bad guys or protecting your virtue in the same time frame and let the glasses-girl handle it (which she did on her own, technically). You can't have it both ways, dammit!

Yeah, I actually liked the red head the first 2 episodes because of her Gratuitous French and shit, but this really made me think o fher as nothing but a stupid Overreacting Tsundere. I thought this was abopve the whoel Amusing Injuries sort of thing, but I guess not.

Hah, dissapointing.

You thought this show was above ANYTHING?

I tmight be Unwanted Harem, Bu tI at least thought they could avoid Amusing Injuries with the Manami the read head, if she was such a funny chracter. But no.

I like it regardless, but I still don't get why Amusing Injuries in Unwanted Harem series are seen as funny to being with.
