Peter Cullen is 80. Sucks to realize this. Got the Robosen/Hasbro Pulse auto transforming Optimus this week and that made me realize the man's ancient. :/
Seems TFW might've gotten their Jack Angels confused or it's a bad day for Jack Angels.
EDIT: Been reconfirmed it's indeed him who passed away.

Yeesh Chris Ayres and Jack Angel in the same day.
That's like how Lis Sladen and Dwayne McDuffie both died around the same time as well....I think.
It's rough times for fans of all genres.
One Strip! One Strip!Legacy Skids and Bulkhead got released. Skids looks neat, cool update of his G1 version. Bulkhead I'll have to see more of. The boxy torso with the skinny waste looks weird. I can see a Movie Hound retool from this though.
And now I feel better about not grabbing Thrilling 30 or the upcoming Masterpiece Skids. Love his proportions here. Look at those big old stompers!
Meanwhile, Bulkhead is looking way more varied than I anticipated. They call him "Prime Universe", but there's elements not just from Prime!Bulkhead and Movieverse!Hound (who, let's face it, is pretty much Bulkhead in all but name, darn you Michael Bay). We got:
- Bulkhead's signature jaw is virtually Prime!Bulkhead's!
- He has the mace that look to be plugged into his hand. Pure Prime.
- The altmode is more in line with Movieverse Hound since Prime!Bulkhead turned into basically a truck or a mega-sized SUV and Animated!Bulkhead turned into an artillery vehicle of some kind?
- On the subject of Hound, Bulkhead's tarp that turns into a shield seems to be not so much based on Movieverse!Hound's sleeper cabin, but on the tarp seen with Masterpiece Hound.
- Both Bulkhead and Skids have some odd translucent weapons. Think we'll get a better idea of what they're for come PulseCon?
In any case, bring 'em on!
EDIT: Upon closer inspection, the jaw actually doesn't look like Animated Bulkhead's jaw. Sorry.

I do agree that Bulkhead's torso is too thin.
Dude's always had a gut in both his incarnations. Same goes for Hound.
I'm baffled they stripped that away.
Wonder if they plan on using Bulkhead in another animated feature. I've always liked him to be honest. I especially like Prime Bulkhead.
One Strip! One Strip!A lot of people noting that some of Bulkhead's parts seem to be designed for a Beast Hunter Optimus body, his thighs in particular.
Skid's legs are awful? Like, both the legs and the thighs are visibly hollow. And it's super apparent.
Cullen is 80?!
Really wish I weren't so easily persuaded by negativity. I know Prime has a lot of issues but it's what got me into the franchise. I went to a convention and had my blu-rays signed by both Cullen and Welker. The next week I had people on social media convince me it's a bad show so I tossed my blu-rays into the recycling. Unless I meet them at a convention again, I'm not buying new copies since the show has been lingering on Netflix.
Is there a reason Prime and Robots in Disguise have been on Netflix for so long?

Contract, probably.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”True, I think Netflix has a contract with Polygon Pictures (the animators of the two shows). Their anime go onto there.
I wouldn't have gotten into Ajin or Knights of Sidonia if it weren't for Prime and they're some of my favourite anime/manga.

Though Prime only seems to have the first season.
One Strip! One Strip!Got my Robosen remote control, self transforming Optimus Prime and I'm 5 year old again. This thing is so cool.
Anybody have the Earthrise Sunstreaker? How is he?
I've got all three versions. Very enjoyable toy, but it's possible to get one with a tricky leg transformation due to the clearance on the hinge. It's definitely an upgrade to the Universe version, though. Looks better and isn't quite so tough to transform.
I see. thanks mate. Hope to try and track him down.
Also, how about that pulsecon? Kickback and Dragstrip look really good. Definitely going to get the Stunticons. Combiner Wars Menasor was definitely the most lacking of the CW takes on the combiners.
I'm definitely getting those Stunticons, Insecticons, and Skids. Laser OP looks cool too, but I think I might wait for the Scourge redeco. The Prime ones I can take or leave, but they still look good.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonIt won’t play.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”Laser Prime's proportions are weird. Like he has too much leg and not enough torso.
This place is careless. This week I learned you can get some Transformers figures at Macy's. Still can't find Tigatron anywhere, though.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHe has earthrise Prime's legs. It's amazing how much mileage hasbro is having out of that mold
Ya know there's something to be said how the movies used the Transformers being robots to create the goriest kills imaginable.
Seriously pretty sure most of the ways Optimus kills Cons in these movies constitutes as some kind of war crime.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie.""war crime"
Show me where, exactly, the Autobots or Decepticons became signatories to the Geneva Convention.
Alternatively, show me the section of the Tyrest Accord that disallows inflicting Mortal Kombat Fatalities.
This place is careless.
RIP man
The more time passes. The more well be losing more of the G1 cast which really Sucks.
