NSFW Picture: Enthralling Siren

Blatant NSFW is one of the few grounds for immediate image removal.

Hell, that's not even a siren, that's clearly a harpy.

In Greek mythology sirens had bird's bodies and wings, rather than being the mermaid-like ones we think of now, (Greek vase depicting Odysseus and the sirens)◊ but still, too NSFW.

I did a quick Google image search for "Siren" and of the few pics that could demonstrate the trope, this◊ is the only one that wasn't definitely NSFW, and even then this is probably too risque to use.

Fair enough. I'd still prefer the more recent versions.

^^ I can't tell how they're supposed to be sirens either, so.

This is probably not gonna meet with general approval, but if you want something more abstract, how about the art for the Magic: the Gathering card Siren's Call?

Whatever we choose, this page is going to need an Image Links page.

Those pics of Siren from FF 8 work nicely.

The FFVIII sirens are good, but I think there's a bit too much emphasis on the harp there. That might just be me, though, harps were important, they just don't feel iconic to me.

Maybe something like this◊?

The FFVII ones are okay, but I agree, Red Wren's the best both for being SFW and for conveying the point.

So...how does one load the image? My wiki-fu is too weak.

Up on the page or to the server? To load on the page, you just copy the (on TV Tropes site) url into the part of the screen. Uploading to the servers, you have to use the tool on the left side labeled "image uploader".

Giving this a bump. Since this is an original (and noticeably copyrighted) artwork, we'll need to ask the artist's permission to use it if it's what we end up using on the page.

I thought artist scribble was accepted, it's just the little c symbol that was bad?

Geh, now that you've made me think about it, I can't remember for sure what the policy is. We need a mod to clarify.
