Frankly I dislike the way the writer handles Richard. Often times he borders on God-Mode Sue (Since apparently he can't be killed). Cale is often hypocritic in his stances with Richard. Pella kills a few gnomes and gets chewed out, Richard kills entire villages and gets a scolding.

Okay, is he even trying anymore? I mean, what the hell was the point of that scene?

Well this comic officially just got retarded. Sohmer can't write for shit.

I would like this one if I believed the promises of actual horror to come, but I expect Cale will be taunted about his position then Benny will regenerate his legs and everyone will have tea.

^^^, ^^ What exactly is wrong with it? Comments like that sound less like objective criticism, and more like complaining about webcomics you don't like.

The problem is it served literally no purpose beyond acting as something he has posted to fit a deadline. It didn't have a joke, it didn't advance the storyline, it wasn't even very pleasant to look at because he didn't bother to colour it. There was nothing to like about it.

For future reference, when that was released it was, in fact, not colored. The coloring took until later in the week compared to the official scheduled release date. They're falling behind.

^^ It did have a joke. It's black humor and a visual gag, but it's a joke, and it fits the comic's style.

One late update in the middle of con season is hardly proof a webcomic is dying.

I could give lots of other reasons but not that.

^^ How? They begin eating him, like they said they were going to do. There's no humour to that. They tried to make it look like it was a dream, but that didn't take in the slightest.

Hard to say. The bed of green leaves is certainly suggestive, but references here tend to be a tad more blatant.

Its way too removed to be a Troll 2 reference. No plant mush, no observer, nothing that looks like the Goblins.

On the other hand, this has been overdue for a long time. Hopefully the effects will last more than one frame.

Oh, yay, political Take That! parading as humor

Can someone tell me why I'm still following LFG?

It had a joke, whether you liked it or not is irrelevant. It advanced the story by showing that Cale had lost his leg and so what if he was late on the colouring? shit happens.

If you don't like dramedy comics, why do you read this? it's been this way since the start really.

Good question, if you don't enjoy reading the comic, don't.

I don't read this comic. Just popped in. What was the joke in that last one. I don't really get it.

Republicans are against immigration. The little green guys go about immigration by way of extreme violence. Richard likes extreme violence. Thus, Richard is thinking of leaving the Republican party because they are against tribes of tiny green men enthusiastically killing one another to determine who gets to live inside a giant murder-worm.

^ That's part (but only part) of why I said "parading as humor". I don't usually find Take Thats based on strawman positions like "Republicans are against immigration" all that humorous, in general.

(Come to think of it, a vast majority of what falls under the "political humor" label, nowadays, strikes me as petty mean-spiritedness, regardless of the target... but that's another forum entirely.)
