I’d assume JTTW as it’s a cultural story and art of war a book on tactics for battle with a still known author
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingWell...
Looks like Totes's Sandbox.Totally Not An Alien will have to get purged.
...yeah that seems. understandable, even if it is kinda sequestered off compared to most of the wiki as a whole
would be a bit of a nasty surprise to stumble upon that stuff if you weren’t expecting it/didn’t really know Totes well enough to expect it
in other news. we’re doodlin’ Tabby. had a couple false starts before I just went “screw it, we can make him look cool just by having him vibin’ for a sec”
oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘
so then it was like “hm. what can we do that’ll be unique among fan art of our lad” and then the answer was so obvious it was kinda shocking I hadn’t seen it already whilst looking for refs (and finding other drawings of him in the process)
oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘
Wait is that a robot ninja?
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingRobot ninja tablet. 🤘🏾
gonna prolly launch a page for his source material when I finish the game itself, but for now, have a trailer

oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘@Tre:
What do you think of Scaramouche from 5th season of Samurai Jack? And other robots like Ultrabots?
Samurai Jack in general just knocked it out of the park with the robot stuff, like as if Genndy just went “alright so if the network doesn’t want Jack killing living beings we’ll just make it so he uses lethal force against every mechanical thing we can think of” and the rest of the crew on the show was like “ok king bet”
Scaramouche is neat for being the apotheosis of that idea, done one last time for the sake of connecting the show post-timeskip to what older fans would remember about it (albeit with the training wheels off — dude is vicious whilst being among the silliest foes Jack’s encountered and it’s great)
(also yesssssss thank you for getting what I was going for 🤘🏾)

oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘Hmmm? Journey to the West was published in the 16th Century, and some of it was folk tales before that, but the historical Sanzang was from the Tang Dynasty in the 7th Century.
The Art of War is from the Springs and Autumns period, A.C.
Also frick, Immortal, JTTW has an author, old Wu Cheng'en. There is even a series about him writing the book.

If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni Morrison@Tre: as usual, I appreciate and like your input. Altho not to fall into DILP trap, I was bummed when Aku killed him.
Also, the KUNAI game is cute and fun looking.
~@Myskywarm come back the information you were given is wrong.
~@Immortalartisan the information you gave was wrong.
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonSorry west just my assumption based on how legends and stories become parts of cultures
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingOh yeah Tre, another robot character you might appreciate is Xan Kriegor, who is the final boss of the classic Unreal Tournament iirc. Dude's AI is set to be highest and he's no joke, on top of taunting the ever living stuff out of you. Check out the concept art for Unreal Championship 2 especialy
Eh, don't worry too much about it. Thanks for the correction though.
The true power of us human beings is that we can change ourselves on our own.I’ve been enjoying Kunai so far! a quirky Metroidvania with dope combat, a neat protagonist and fun movement mechanics. the plot ain’t a ton to write home about but it kinda has an understanding of that and doesn’t push it too hard as a result
if anything, the biggest things about are just that it has a little bit of Fake Difficulty here and there, and there isn’t a fast travel system (navigating through the game’s map is fun, sure, but you do end up revisiting areas a lot — I don’t mind too much but it ended up being a pain point for some folks in the reviews and such). it isn’t really reinventing the wheel but it knows what it’s good at and I’ve been enjoying it as a diversion from you-know-what
X2 oh YES what a Chunky Boi...

oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘Sometimes not going too different is okay, it's the feel, aesthetic and style that can carry the game!
Okay then.
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonTre, gotta say, that's an awesome art piece you got there!
artsy geek | any pronouns | "well, if you're hearing this, then chances are you've made a very poor career choice."Man I feel ashamed of calling myself the local ai person now
I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingx2thanks :)
prolly gonna finish him t’morrow, it would probably be a good idea for me to sleep (even though I’m not tired thanks to somehow being knocked out all day yesterday)

oh, that's why I need this binary mind // ⌘Not to drag yer attention away Tre, but in Ratchet & Clank franchise, there's a lot of robots. Bad guys but good guys too, I always like Up Your Arsenal's Galactic Rangers even if they're Red Shirt fodder. Then Ratchet: Deadlocked has Shellshock and Reactor.
yallllllll i just got suspended
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?that art is neat af gotta say tho

I think this is really a stupid question but
Was Sun Tzu's Art of War published before or after Journey to the West?
