It's more that none of the rest of us pay any mind to those aspects, so even if we did play a game that met those criteria, they wouldn't come to mind when prompted.
SoundCloudWhile it occurs to me, Ring of Red for the PS 2. A game where your units are guys piloting mecha..........who also have ground troops fighting along side them (And on them.).
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.Saw someone ask about mobile Role Playing Games for Android earlier, figured I'd drop in.
Pewdiepie's Pixelings is a pretty good one. It's like a sort of hybrid between real-time and turn-based gameplay.
Equipped with 5 Pixelings and 2 spells, you deploy your Pixelings on a field. Depending on when you send them out, they'll attack at certain intervals. The game is mostly focused on outplays, which is especially evident in the Arena, where all Pixelings are maxed out- your actual power levels are only there for Story or Trials mode.
There are plenty of opportunities for rewards, including biweekly Guild Chests, Trial runs, Arena rewards (even when you lose!), and a few others I haven't mentioned. You also get your first Rare at Level 10 (via guaranteed Large Chest) and first Mythic at Level 15 (via guaranteed Giant Chest), which isn't too bad considering the max Player Level is 55, last time I checked.
I will say, the only bad things you need to look out for are the very powerful spells- namely Inferno and Cosmic Shower, two of the four Fire spells available. Even then, they only really become a problem when facing off against other players- the PvE, not so much. Unless it's in Trials. Then it's a huge problem.
It gets very tactical, and at the same time, very addictive. I'd say give it a try if you haven't already.
"Ware wa meshia nari! Hahahaha!"If that was directed at my request for a mobile RPG, then thank you for it! ^_^
That said, I'll confess that it doesn't really look like my sort of RPG.
Still, I appreciate the response and suggestion nevertheless.
My Games & WritingA reminder that while it is I think only a rumor as of now, that if any of you have games to get off the store for your PS 3, PSP, PS Vita, and PSTV, do it now. Speaking of such games, The Tomba Duology are a fun series with unique ideas. Arc the Lad Trilogy is also pretty good too, as well as Misadventures of Tron Bonne.

Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness....what rumor?
Thanks for the suggestion, SleepyFox.
Was actually hoping for something animesque, which I sort of took for granted, but I still appreciate having had something to add to Game Gourmet.
Any recommendations for puzzle games, especially ones that combine it with other genres (i.e. puzzle platformers)? I've played Tetris, Tetris Attack, Picross, Portal (1 and 2)....
Kathy Rain and The Dig are two puzzle games I really enjoyed.
Optimism is a duty.I'll add Metrico+ and The Swapper as two puzzle games I really enjoyed.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.I have a hard time finding mobile games that fit what I'm looking for (Android). I want something I can pick up and put down in an instant (so kind of time sensitive), kind of more puzzle-oriented, story is nice but also makes it more likely to have an endpoint where I just walk away, and not full of interrupting ads and "watch an ad to make the game suck less for a bit" monetization.
At the moment I basically just play game after game of solitaire. I also had Minesweeper and Sudoku for a long time but I got bored of them.
I really got into A Dark Room and Spaceplan, but they suck me in too much. I just lost like an hour on the web version of A Dark Room. They're clicker games (though A Dark Room eventually opens up a roguelike mode), but at least they have endings.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI've rather enjoyed I Love Hue.
In short, it's a tile-swapping game, but instead of building up a picture, one builds up various colour-gradients.

My Games & WritingAlright, so finally decided to get Loop Hero. And well, it's been a worthwhile purchase so far.
I've been enjoying the, um, gameplay loop very much so far. It's not nearly as action packed as the loop for Hades, but it's surprisingly relaxing and fun.
It taking up only 200 MB doesn't hurt either.
Loop Hero is the kind of game where you start playing it then check the time and go "Oh, Crap! I had shit to do today didn't I".
That's how you know you've got a good game.

Disgusted, but not surprisedThanks, I've been playing I Love Hue maybe a little more than as much as solitaire this week.
Fresh-eyed movie blogIt's my pleasure; I'm glad that you seem to be enjoying it! ^_^
My Games & WritingSome types of games I've been trying to look for:
- A good rhythm game for the 3DS.
- A Danganronpa-esque mystery game (something with a wider barrier of entry would be great, but anything's fine.)
- A long action game for the PS2.
I can recommend two 3DS rhythm games for you: HarmoKnight and Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure.
SoundCloudAnyone know some chill online multiplayer games on Steam? Not something that's totally goalless like GMod sandbox or VRChat, but more relaxed than a Pv P shooter or MOBA.
Oh, and specifically multiplayer with some sort of matchmaking, not something with friends only or the like. A game I can just play whenever, not something I have to plan for ahead of time.

I missed the part where that's my problem.Does Magic: The Gathering Arena count?
Also, I'm not even sure what to ask for myself. I could think of so many things...2D platformers, RPGs...well, does anyone know of any good 3D platformers that aren't collectathons? I enjoyed the classic Crash Bandicoot games (or at least the first four, maybe five), and It's About Time would have been great if it weren't so freaking hard, especially when trying to complete levels. I also liked Super Mario 3D Land and World. But I hated Banjo-Kazooie, found Super Mario 64 one of the greatest examples of Hype Backlash I've ever experienced, and merely tolerated Spyro (which at least has some childhood nostalgia and is fairly rare to die in outside of the first game). Something that's either on Steam, is on an older console but is easy to emulate, or is on the Wii/Wii U/Switch and not expensive would be good.
Games that are kind of like a MOBA, but PvE? I know this is an extremely broad definition but I have seen very few if none quite like that. An example would be Guilty Gear 2 Overture which had an actual campaign despite being a MOBA (although the game itself is pretty weird and feels low quality).
Have you tried a Mosou?
I don't recall Musou games' map objectives being MOBA-like at all but I'll be sure to check
So a new gacha game got released called Alchemy Stars.
So how is the gameplay and is it worth playing it since I'm already playing Girls Frontline and Arknights.
There are a fuckton of non-gachapon games that fulfill all criteria in question, even when you still keep it down to RPGs. There's gotta be more games like this than just those two within this particular subgenre, there's just got to.
