[up] I believe he's referring to one of his Top 15 Screw-Ups lists. Basically, he talked about how in the Uncanny X-Men review, he acted like Angelo was a case of Remember the New Guy? and poked fun on how his death was not affecting at all. Fans pointed out that Angelo had been a recurring character for years at that point, and his death was an egregious case of Dropped a Bridge on Him. Linkara apologized for not doing his research before hand and how tactless he came across to fans of the character.

[up][up][up][up][up]Thanks. I will look that video up. I actually kinda sorta like Angelo (more his team than he specifically), so I am curious to what he had to say.

As for raisins. I don't mind them but I always curious about their memetic hatred. Are they, like, really common in the US or something? Even though most people apparently don't like them? I just don't understand that whole thing.

I'm somewhat disappointed that the review ends before the chapters where things get excessively goofy.

The story would be taken more seriously if it were not for Chapter 5.

The chapter before that was the scariest of them all.

Trivia: at the end of the book there is a 1-chapter story called "Army of One"

I was reading some of Junji Ito works and i noticed that most of them manage to be scary and goofy at the same time. Like stupidity of characters and plot is just as frequent occurrence in his manga as body horror.

The message is sort of uplifting, but the survivors has almost zero chance of actually living outside of a miracle, which they also acknowledge.

Agreed. They're like Stephen King's works, now that I think about it.

Linkara reviews a lamp! Again!

Actually, he's reviewing Gallery of Horrors in the style of Phelous's reviews.

[up] Linkara still hasn't published a new State of the Wall. (He said he'd "eventually" do it.) I assume it has something to do with the Secret Project.

So do Americans really pay all their taxes in one fell swoop annually? That seems like a really weird and awkward way to go about it.

I'm not sure about business owners like Linkara but, for most people, your taxes automatically come out of each paycheck (which is to say that your employer deducts your taxes et al from your pay before they pay you).

[up][up]It’s more a review of the taxes you’ve been paying. Plenty of cases have people getting refunds because of overpayment.
